Keith Schwinaman named as new suspect of JonBenet Ramsey

A new bombshell in the cold case of JonBenet Ramsey’s murder has named suspect Keith Schwinaman as the possible murderer of the tiny beauty queen. According to reports, Keith was part of a pedophile ring, and JonBenet was brutally beaten and raped before she was killed.

Schwinaman, whose name was originally withheld, is currently serving a 32-year prison sentence for sexual assault crimes that occurred between 1993 and 1996. He likely escaped prosecution for JonBenet’s death by being incarcerated at the time.

Weeks before JonBenet’s murder, Schwinaman entered into a plea deal that gave him 12 years of probation. He violated that probation in 2000 and was put away for two and a half years, and then entered another plea bargain that put him in jail for 32 years.

Heather Kubes, Schwinaman’s ex, told investigators that she was unable to give her ex an alibi for the night that JonBenet was brutally murdered.

Kubes also told media outlets that Schwinaman had given her a golden cross necklace around that time. The necklace mysteriously disappeared, but JonBenet Ramsey was found wearing it when her body was discovered.

So far, the DNA has not matched to Schwinaman, but it is worth noting that investigators know that he always wore gloves.

Police plan to do more DNA testing to figure out if Schwinaman is linked to the JonBenet Ramsey case.

In addition to the cross necklace, his crimes are very similar to what happened to JonBenet. For example, he would always tie victims up when killing or assaulting them, and JonBenet was found with rope on her hands by her father, John.

Kubes further commented on Schwinaman’s character.

“It wasn’t unusual for him to disappear for a few hours and have no explanation of it. I have no idea what he was capable of. I think anything is possible.”

JonBenet Ramsey’s death has become one of the most famous cold cases in history. For years, many believed (and perhaps still do) that her parents were responsible for the murder. There have also been rumors that her jealous older brother, Burke, tied her up and hit her with a flashlight in order to ensure that he would not have to continue competing with his little sister.

However, this new evidence points to a whole new set of circumstances that could put the Ramsey family in the clear once and for all.

I agree, more BS, if u watched the special on her a few months ago, all the specialist figured out who killed her and in my opinion they did an amazing job recreating everything that happened that night, by evidence , recorded 911 calls and much more. It was the brother in a fit of jealously and her parents covered it up, ultimately karma took her mothers life for allowing him to go unpunished and no for no justice done for that beautiful little girl!

Honestly, I really don't think this will ever be solved. This whole case was botched from the get go. And as we all know, the longer a case sits cold the less chance of ever finding out who did this. Let this poor child rest in peace and put an end to it.

Wow I just checked here and read the headline and got excited. I am very intrigued. Even more interesting is the gold cross that JonBenet was found wearing when her body was discovered and it has not been known. So the BPD and the Hunter and Lacy kept that detail to themselves. That was smart of them. I think that gold cross could be the smoking gun since if found out to belong to Heather Kubes then it will be difficult if not impossible to discredit it in trial or an alternate explanation as to how JonBenet was wearing it. I really hope this Keith Schwinnaman is good for this and it can be proved and he can be convicted. If this happens then the Ramseys will be out from under the umbrella of suspicion and belief of guilt. Of course those that have the entrenched belief they are guilty won't be convinced. the dna doesn't match, but if he confesses, or if other evidence like the golden necklace can be linked, it may not matter.

I read that. Re-testing will be done so there is a possibility that his DNA will match DNA found on other piece of evidence. DNA is preferred but if it is not present other evidence can be just as compelling. So there could be others involved or who saw it perhaps through video. A conviction does not have to happen necessarily to pin this on Keith Schwinnaman because other evidence can put him in the Ramsey house and killing JonBenet. Even if he is never convicted of the crime the evidence will still point to him. His name has been put out there and people will know it. There is a connection to the garrote and ligatures as they are made from nylon. Two of his two victims were bound with nylon rope and the one behind her back with tape. That really jumps out at you. Even if Keith Schwinnaman never serves time in jail for this everyone will still know he did it. It will be enough even if that is all we get.

both Keith and Mr. Cruel are pedophiles, and both theories are theories that state Jonbenet was a target of a home invading pedo'

No DNA match doesn't mean Keith Schwinnaman didn't kill JonBenet Ramsey. He wore gloves when he sexually assaulted his other victims. There are other things that contain DNA such as what comes from a sneeze, saliva, etc. . Besides they are planning to re-test.
