did JonBenet Ramsey ransom writer intentionally misspell " bussiness" and "posession" Empty did JonBenet Ramsey ransom writer intentionally misspell " bussiness" and "posession"

CBS documentary on Jonbenet featured James Fitzgerald and Stan Burke, two imposters and non-experts.

I say this bc Stan Burke is a "statement analysis" non-expert

this is what science says about "statement analysis"
wiki wrote:
Statement analysis, also called investigative discourse analysis and scientific content analysis (SCAN), is a technique for analyzing the words people use to try to determine if what they said is accurate....

As it has not been proven experimentally and is generally unaccepted by courts, skeptics call it an example of pseudoscience.
Critics argue that the technique encourages investigators to prejudge a suspect as deceptive and affirm a presumption of guilt before the interrogation process has even begun. Statement analysis in general has been criticized as "theoretically vague" with little or no empirical evidence in its favor, and SCAN in particular has been characterized as "junk science" [1] with the Skeptic's Dictionary and Skeptical Inquirer magazine[13] classifying it as a form of pseudoscience

James Fitzgerald and Stan Burke statements are not grounded in science, and therefore do not constitute expert witness evidence.

the ransom note correctly spells "advise" and "attache" but misspells " bussiness" and "posession"

when Patsy Ransey was told to provide a handwritten dictated exemplar, she correctly spells business and possession but mispells advise as advize - this was consistent through 2 right handed and 2 left handed dictated exemplars -
and writes an earlier rather than a earlier.
iirc Patsy also misspelled scrutiny by adding an extra i struitiny - see Gerald R. McMenamin
an actual linguist and a forensic lingusit using an actual scientifically validated method which eliminates Patsy as the author.

several RDI such as Delmar England for example, from forumsforjackasses claim that those words were intentionally misspelled by Patsy.

delmar england acandyrose wrote:You can *dumb down*, but not *dumb up*. There is no way that uneducated thugs can account for the precise spelling and precise punctuation that makes up most of the note. However, it is no problem for one knowledgeable in spelling and punctuation to *dumb down* by deliberate insertion of errors. This takes the writing of the note away from the *kidnappers* and places the writer elsewhere. This is just one more confirmation of the fact that ransom note scene is phony from the get go.

An actual kidnapper may cut and paste from a newspaper or magazine to create a ransom note to reduce the chance of personal trace; or even try to disguise his or her handwriting. But a long ransom note with the deliberate insertion of errors pointing to a particular stereotype, is a most unlikely scenario. Among other flaws, it presupposes that this stereotype will be the only suspects in the case.

Although a real kidnapper may take some precautions to avoid personal trace, in general, the intent of the kidnapper is to get the money and run. He or she has no intent of hanging around and having his or her spelling and punctuation skills compared to the note. There would be no motivation whatsoever for the kidnapper to *dumb down* when writing the ransom note.

it is possible the ransom note did know how to correctly spell those words and misspelled them intentionally, but 1- this does not prove Patsy wrote it and 2- doesn't tell us anything about the author.

it is also possible the ransom note author really does misspell those words, which would eliminate Patsy as the author. Getting 1 s for business and 2 s for possession could be something the author could not do. in fact that is one reason why Patsy was eliminated as the author

a famous example is the BTK killer Dennis Raider, who sent handwritten messages  via mailed them to police

Oh! Death to Nancy
What is this taht  I can see
Cold icy hands taking hold of me
for Death has come, you all can see.
Hell has open it,s  gate to trick me.
Oh! Death, Oh! Death, can't you spare me, over for another year!
I'll stuff your jaws till you can't talk
I'll blind  your leg's till you can't walk
I'll tie your hands till you can't make a stand.
And finally I'll close your eyes so you can't see
I'll bring sexual death unto you for me.
B.T.K.

despite the misspellings Raider bio

Dennis Rader is the oldest of four sons born to Dorothea Mae Rader (née Cook) and William Elvin Rader.[1] Though born in Pittsburg, Kansas, he grew up in Wichita. According to many reports, including his confessions, he tortured animals as a child.[2] He also had a sexual fetish for women's underwear and stole underpants from his victims and wore them himself.[3]
Rader spent 1966–1970 in the United States Air Force.[3] Upon discharge, he moved to Park City, where he worked in the meat department of a Leekers IGA supermarket where his mother was a bookkeeper.[4] He married Paula Dietz on May 22, 1971, and had two children.[5][6] He attended Butler County Community College in El Dorado, earning an associate degree in electronics in 1973.[7] He then enrolled at Wichita State University, and graduated in 1979 with a bachelor's in administration of justice.
Rader worked as an assembler for the Coleman Company, an outdoor supply company. He worked at the Wichita-based office of ADT Security Services from 1974 to 1988, where he installed security alarms as a part of his job, in many cases for homeowners concerned about the BTK killings.[5][8] Rader was a census field operations supervisor for the Wichita area in 1989, before the 1990 federal census.[9] He became a dogcatcher and compliance officer in Park City.[5][10][11] In this position, neighbors recalled him as being sometimes overzealous and extremely strict. One neighbor complained he euthanized her dog for no reason.[12]
On March 2, 2005, the Park City council terminated Rader's employment for failure to report to work or call in. He had been arrested for the murders five days earlier.[13]
Rader was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and had been elected president of the church council.[5][14] He was also a Cub Scout leader.[5] On July 26, 2005, after Rader's arrest, his wife was granted an immediate divorce.[6][15]

Dennis Raider was born and raised in the USA, English is his first and only language, and he really does have difficulty with misspellings.

He was never on any suspect list as the BTK killer.

Case history[edit]
Rader was particularly known for sending taunting letters to police and newspapers.[18][19][20] He authored many communications from 1974 to 1979. The first was a letter that had been stashed inside an engineering book in the Wichita Public Library in October 1974 that described, in detail, the killing of the Otero family in January of that year.[9] In early 1978, he sent another letter to television station KAKE in Wichita, claiming responsibility for the murders of the Oteros, Shirley Vian, Nancy Fox, and Kathryn Bright.[9] He suggested many possible names for himself, including the one that stuck: BTK. He demanded media attention in this second letter, and it was finally announced that Wichita did indeed have a serial killer at large. A poem was enclosed titled "Oh! Death to Nancy," a parody of the lyrics to the American folk song "O Death."[21][22]
In 1988, after the murders of three members of the Fager family in Wichita, a letter was received from someone claiming to be the BTK killer where he denied being the perpetrator of this crime. He credited the killer having done "admirable work." It was not proven until 2005 that this letter was in fact written by Rader, and he is not considered by police to have committed this crime.[22]
By 2004, the investigation of the BTK Killer was cold. Then, Rader began a series of 11 communications to the local media that led directly to his arrest in February 2005. In March 2004, The Wichita Eagle received a letter from someone using the return address Bill Thomas Killman. The author of the letter claimed that he had murdered Vicki Wegerle on September 16, 1986, and enclosed photographs of the crime scene and a photocopy of her driver's license, which had been stolen at the time of the crime.[23] Before this, it was not definitively established that Wegerle was killed by BTK.[23]

Raider was hiding in plain sight. He lived and worked in Wichita, he was born and raised in USA, and he had terrible spelling both in the letters to police and in his personal life. He was never a suspect for police until he again started contacting LE.

So Delmar England and James Fitzgerald and Stan Burke's claim that these misspellings somehow prove Patsy wrote the ransom note is contradicted by actual forensic document examiners, those qualified under Daubert, eliminating Patsy as the author using a scientifically tested and validated technique.

it is also possible the ransom note as with BTK that the author couldn't spell those words.

it's hard for Americans to understand but Americans aren't the only people who speak English in the world. For one, Canadians also speak English. British also speak English.

and yes Australians also speak English.

did JonBenet Ramsey ransom writer intentionally misspell " bussiness" and "posession" Justin13

do English speaking Australins from Melbourne misspell business and possession, even though English is their first and native language and can they correctly spell other more difficult words?

all the other English words in these documents are correctly spelled. But Aussies regularly  misspell possession as Posession with 1 s's

so the Jonbenet Ransom note author could be an Australian national like Justine Damond, who was in the USA, like Justine Damond, who correctly spells difficult words like attaches while non-intentionally misspelling .posession and  bussiness as is custom in Melbourne Australia.

the ransom note author could be from Melbourne Australia. As an Australian, English is his native language. He can correctly spell some difficult words, but misspell business and possession as he grew up around Aussies who also mix up the number of s's those words contain.

Even in an age with computerized spell check, microsoft word automatic spelling correction, Australians routinely misspell business as bussiness and possession as posession. Quite possibly this points to the author as being Australian, much as Justine Damond was an Aussie shot and killed in the USA by police officer Noor.

regarding these claims

delmar england wrote:An actual kidnapper may cut and paste from a newspaper or magazine to create a ransom note to reduce the chance of personal trace; or even try to disguise his or her handwriting.

Cynic  says Delmar England is some kind of expert.

does Delmar or cynic have any sources references for these claims?

specifically, is Delmar an expert when he claims

the intent of the kidnapper is to get the money and run.
Mr. Cruel is a real actual kidnapper. he made actual ransom demands for money.
he has done it at least 4 times.
sources references- see my other blog posts on Mr. Cruel

his actual motive is sexual. this one example contradicts and debunks Delmar's claims of what a "real" kidnapper would do. Delmar, like cynic, makes stuff up. no references. no case studies.

speaking of Mr. Cruel,  who is from Melbourne Australia and enters family homes on Dec 26, 1988 to get at young girls.

Mr. Cruel could have written the ransom note, and it would not be, for an Australian national, an intentional misspelling of business and possession, but a habit, while also correctly spelling other difficult words.

These considerations have lead actual forensic linguists with actual scientifically tested and approved methods to eliminate Patsy Ramsey and John Ramsey as the author.

conclusion it is not possible to determine with any certainty if business and possession was deliberately misspelled as a result of dumbing down, or whether they were unintentionally misspelled. spelling it with the wrong number of s's is common in English speaking Australia.

it is speculation that Patsy wrote the ransom note, then dumb downed and misspelled those words.

reference source? proof? evidence for any of these claims?

the only scientific way to determine if Patsy wrote the ransom note is to use a scientifically tested and approved methodology to make that determinations. and only science from expert witnesses belongs in the court room and in realm of justice.

, it is expert witness testimony of a forensic linguist qualified under Daubert that Patsy is eliminated as the author, based on these considerations.
