Quinlan Vos lives in canon (spoiler) confirmed Darth Vader: Dark Lord of the Sith 7
i'm writing this on nov 4, 2017 some 41 days before Last Jedi
to carry me over, i've watched 6 episodes of season 4 of dave filoni's star wars rebels, every episode of 2 seasons of kung fu panda loa. it's very entertaining.
i'm a huge fan of the old star wars EU with dark horse, and its clone wars comic, which featured quinlan vos prominently
when disney acquired star wars, disney declared all the old eu non-canon and "legends".
they made many changes, certainly in the old EU the emperor survives the fall down reactor shaft in ROTJ via clone bodies, then meets luke and his wife mara jade, and fights them and leia, and becomes almost all powerful. then the galaxy was invade from outside the galaxy by the yuuzhan vong. this was declared non-canon, and replaced with snoke and the current movies.
quinlan vos which was only in EU was made canon in the clone wars cartoon, which is canon. in legends he survives order 66 simply by beating the crap out of all the clone troopers who were assigned to kill him.
IMO Vos is more powerful than most of the jedi council. ki al mundu went out like a punk
vos was able to overwhelm his troopers
the han solo movie features a character named dryden vos, which sounds suspiciously close to quinlan vos, so there's speculation it is quinlan vos under cover, much like ben for obi wan
I've been reading the star wars comics and i just read
Star Wars: Darth Vader: Dark Lord of the Sith
Darth Vader: Dark Lord of the Sith 7: The Dying Light, Part I
which is canon
inquisitor has a list of jedi who is known to survived, and this is canon
including yoda Jocasta nu and ahsoka tano, it includes quinlan vos
so its possible he shows up in the han solo movie as dryden vos
.
i was hoping to see him return in rebels but it doesn't seem likely with season 4 being the last and already 6 episodes aired, with i think 14 total.
