Police say a pickup driven by 21-year-old Riley Parker of Tyner collided with a Hyundai car driven by the 17-year-old Alexandra Nicole Harris of London. She was pronounced dead at St. Joseph-London. Sat Dec 17, 2017 at Laurel County Sheriff’s Office, the two females were passengers in a Hyundai that was traveling along Ky. 30, five miles north of London, around 3:41 a.m.






wow, only 17 when a collision killed her. personally i'd prefer to be in my home sound asleep at 3:41am. car collisions can kill any time of day but night vision and drunk drivers are out

I used to go out late as a teen and when I was in college. A LOT. Now that I've been out of college a few years and getting a bit older, I realize how stupid it is.

There is no reason on earth for a 17 year old to be out at 3:41 in the morning. None. Being out that late, there are one or all of these three things involved:

Sex
Alcohol
Drugs

I have difficulty judging her because I did the same thing but at the same time, I know what she's doing and she should've reigned in her partying a bit.

I remember a case last year where a teen couple decided to go out in the middle of the night and hook up behind a grocery store of all places. They both got murdered. THey had snuck out of their houses. Parents thought they were in bed.

THere are risks involved when being out extremely late and if you're going to do that, you have to be willing to live(or die) with the consequences.

well you know that's freedom for you. her reason is she wanted to be out driving.

she won't be doing those things anymore. personally one reason i don't like driving those hours is all the drunk drivers out there on the roads. one drunk driving t-boning u and ur time on earth is over.


i recall that case you mention. one case i'm familiar with it was on 60 minutes with Keith Holbort (sp?). at 2am he left work in newspaper to his car, possibly fed a stray cat, then was attacked by an unknown assailant using some kind of blunt type weapon like a pipe. he was 6'4" so anyone wanting to do that without a gun is taking a huge risk. he died.

it was on 60 minutes bc a boy confessed based on a dream he had, but implicated another boy and both boys spent 10+ years in prison when the other boy was finally released.
