this was explicitly described as forensic evidence, dna analysis, via touch DNA from the ligature they found male DNA.

when you read RDI denialist claims there's no evidence of an intruder, you may bring up this case

is finding DNA on ligature that was wrapped around the necks evidence or not?
maybe its incidental, it was transferred by a factory worker, or by an investigator, therefore, using RDI denialist b.s it is not evidence of anything.

except it was. DNA via touch DNA from ligature in a suitcase decomposing for a year, the bodies were badly decomposed and smelled bad and had lots of flies and maggots.

second was that the killer was into BDSM and tying ligature around the necks of 2 white females was what he enjoyed he strangled them both with ligature strangulation around the neck.

This is of course how  JonBenet Ramsey died

I suspect Jonbenet was murdered by a perp experienced in BDSM and had fantasies of BDSM with  JonBenet Ramsey, as evidence by ligature around her neck with garrotte made from broken paintbrush. My suspects Mr. Cruel and OCCK   are familiar with ligature.

What I find surprising is that 19-year-old Jenny Gamez travelled from Cottage Grove Oregon to Milwauke Wisconsin

web of lies every episode is about use of internet that ends in murder or suicide. one episode of web of lies featured suicide of megan meier age 13, last weeks episode featured another suicide of a girl who had nude photos of her taken when she passed out drunk at a party




i'm not into BDSM in the least, too scary and dangerous. in my case the girl i'm speaking to might be a man pretending to be a woman, or might  be a girl who is a partner of a man with intent to rob me for money or thrill kill me or force me to do something dangerous for them like rob a bank or drugs.

would travel 2200 meet a 55 year old guy in a motel for sex, not for money but sex, and that sex they knew included  "erotic asphyxiation". a real woman, not a man pretending to be a woman, meeting a man for sex is obviously pretty dangerous for the woman. though in this case they knew   what they were walking into.

for Laura Simonson 37 and 19-year-old Jenny Gamez they met 55 year old Steven Zelich for the purpose of sex and that "erotic asphyxiation" as part of BDSM was to enhance their sexual experience and sexual orgasm, but I don't think they intended to actually die, though that is a risk

Practice

Various methods are used to achieve the level of oxygen depletion needed, such as a hanging, suffocation with a plastic bag over the head, self-strangulation such as with a ligature, gas or volatile solvents, chest compression, or some combination of these.[6] Sometimes, complicated devices are used to produce the desired effects.[7] The practice can be dangerous even if performed with care and has resulted in a significant number of accidental deaths. Uva (1995) writes “Estimates of the mortality rate of autoerotic asphyxia range from 250 to 1000 deaths per year in the United States.”[8] Cases have also been reported in Scandinavia[9] and Germany.[10][11] Autoerotic asphyxiation may often be mistaken for suicide, which is a major cause of death in teenagers.[12]

Deaths often occur when the loss of consciousness caused by partial asphyxia leads to loss of control over the means of strangulation, resulting in continued asphyxia and death. While often asphyxiophilia is incorporated into sex with a partner, others enjoy this behaviour by themselves, making it potentially more difficult to get out of dangerous situations.[13]

In some fatality cases, the body of the asphyxiophilic individual is discovered naked or with genitalia in hand, with pornographic material or sex toys present, or with evidence of having orgasmed prior to death.[10] Bodies found at the scene of an accidental death often show evidence of other paraphilic activities,[14] such as fetishistic cross-dressing and masochism.[6] In cases involving teenagers at home, families may disturb the scene by "sanitizing" it, removing evidence of paraphilic activity. This can have the consequence of making the death appear to be a deliberate suicide, rather than an accident.[15]

The great majority of known erotic asphyxial deaths are male; among all known cases in Ontario and Alberta from 1974 to 1987, only one out of 117 cases was female.[6] Some individual cases of women with erotic asphyxia have been reported.[16][17][18][19] The main age of accidental death is mid-20s,[6][20] but deaths have been reported in adolescents[21][22][23] and in men in their 70s.[10][20]

Lawyers and insurance companies have brought cases to the attention of clinicians because some life insurance claims are payable in the event of accidental death, but not suicide.[24][25][26]
