her sales pitch went something like this

Other forums are abuzz with discussions about new information emerging in the JBR case. Few details have been revealed, but the keeper of the secret has given some clues to ponder:

1. The case will never be solved.
2. Someone (not necessarily new) is about to enter the public arena and will discredit JR's "story" of the events surrounding the mysterious death of his daughter.
3. The info has nothing to do with any speculation regarding the possibility of JAR's involvement.
4. Most RDIs will NOT be surprised, as the info will more or less affirm something they have believed all along.

Based on the clues given, what new info do you believe may soon surface? Solid evidence? Or, perhaps, more speculation? I tend to believe the latter, as I would be surprised to learn that LE would share any info with a forum owner/radio show host. If the "secret keeper's" belief is that the case will never be solved, then the "startling revelations" about to be revealed must not be all that startling?.

The Daily Beast has reviewed a portion of a basement crime-scene video taken around midnight, just hours after JonBenet’s body was found by her father. In macabre footage filmed on an ancient police video camera, the white-beamed circle of a police flashlight travels the path Ramsey investigators theorized an intruder took to sneak into the house. Hitchcock-like, the illuminated circle moves through what’s known as the “train room,” into closets where wrapping paper is stored, past an abandoned rocking horse, and finally focuses on what could be a clue in the very window frame through which intruder theorists say JonBenet’s killer entered the house: a triangle of cobweb blows softly in the breeze, undisturbed. Kolar believes the intact web is evidence that no one from the outside entered the Ramseys’ house.

one possibility is an elite and experienced home invading pedophile like Mr. Cruel did enter through the basement window, and either avoided the web, or the web was re-spun. Possible.

There is, of course, another possibility that, if true, would debunk both Kolar and Trasha's claim.
this is the clue

(SMF P 124; PSMF P 124.) The person who may have said this to JonBenet has never been identified. (SMF P 125; PSMF P 125.)" (Carnes 2003:101).
PMPT Account. "Barbara Kostanick was the mother of a playmate of JBR's. She asserted: "The day before Christmas, JonBenet was at our house playing with Megan. The kids were talking about Santa, getting all excited. I asked JonBenet if she had visited Santa Claus yet. She said, “Oh, Santa was at our Christmas party the other night.” Megan had seen Santa at the Pearl Street Mall, so we talked about that. Then JonBenet said, “Santa Claus promised that he would make a secret visit after Christmas.” I thought she was confused. “Christmas is tonight,” I told her. “And Santa will be coming tonight.” “No, no” JonBenet insisted. “He said this would be after Christmas. And it’s a secret” (Schiller 1999:38-39)

Jonbenet met her killer either in person, or over the phone, pretending to be Santa Claus, and Jonbenet then voluntarily opened the door (or left the door unlocked).

More than 150 males provided DNA and were cleared, all who were close to Jonbenet, and who could conceivably be Santa Claus, including Santa Bill Reynolds, Chris Wolfe, JAR, her photographer, etc. That leaves the possibility Jonbenet received the phone call.

One day in late October 1989, Amy received a phone call after school. He said he needed her help to pick out a present for her mother and had to keep it a secret. The man said he chose Amy because she could keep a better secret than her brother.

He convinced her to walk to the Bay Square Shopping Center Oct. 27. Then he talked her into calling McNulty to make sure she didn't worry.

But Amy couldn't keep a secret - she told two friends.

The abductor had contacted Mihaljevic by telephone and arranged to meet her on the pretext of buying a gift for her mother because she had recently been promoted, as he told her. In November 2006 it was revealed that several other young girls had received phone calls similar to that to which Amy responded, during the weeks prior to Amy's abduction in 1989. These comprised requests from an unknown man, claiming to work with their mother, asking the girl to help him shop for a present to celebrate her mother's job promotion. The girls who received these calls lived in North Olmsted, a suburb near Bay Village; some had unlisted phone numbers

"The phone call is definitely unique. You don't see that very often," said Spaetzel.

As for source

Sometime that week, a man had called Amy at home, after school, when she was there alone. I work with your mother, he told her. She just got a promotion. If you meet me at the plaza after school, I'll take you shopping to pick out a present for her. But don't tell her what we're doing. We want it to be a surprise.

But Amy told her brother, Jason, and her friend, Kristy Balas, about the phone calls. Investigators would later figure out that Amy was not the only girl who had received such phone calls around the same time. There were at least three others.

Amy is dead. But she told her friend and her friend Kristy Balas told investigators. Her brother only overheard Amy on the phone.
Jonbenet is dead. But she told her friend and her mother Barbara Kostanick, and then told investigators.

Kristy Balas  is the source for this phone call, though other girls came forward with same story, and Barbara Kostanick is source of Secret Santa.

In the case of Jonbenet, her killer can falsely claim he was Santa, and met her at a party and mall, since chances are, Jonbenet did see an individual dressed as Santa there. The difference between Amy and Jonbenet has to do with the story that was told, and what the story implies. A story of going shopping implies a shopping mall, and a story of Santa implies the home.

Women from North Olmsted: When you were young, did you ever get creepy calls? Seeking info in the Amy Mihaljevic case.

submitted 1 month ago by JamesRenner

Police believe the man who killed Amy Mihaljevic tried to groom other girls in North Olmsted, via phone, in the weeks leading up to Amy's abduction in the fall of 1989. The calls would come after school, when the girl was home alone, and the man on the other line would say something along the lines of "I work with your mother/father and they just got a promotion at work. I work with them. Would you like me to take you out to buy a present?"

Did you or someone you know receive one of these strange calls?

This is so strange! I was born in 85 and was about 4-5 yrs old when I recieved a very strange phone call similar to this. We lived in columbia station not far from north olmsted. I remember telling the man I was going to get my Mom and he insisted I didn't need to. When I insisted he had hung up by time my Mom picked up. It has stuck with me because even that young I could tell it was very odd. None of them stood out to me.. I had definitely visited the science center as a child though I could not say the exact year. If it helps any I remember him asking me to "guess" who it was. I named a few people like my uncle but I did not recognize the voice. No was CB at that time

This woman "CB" is possibly significant. She claims she received a phone call when she was 4/5 years old similar to the call Amy received. One of the questions her caller asked was to guess.

One can easily imagine this same individual calling Jonbenet, asking Jonbenet to guess who he was. Jonbenet gives some answers, then he says I'm Santa Claus! Ho ho ho!

another women

That is super creepy. When I was quite young and probably around that time (it's hard to know the exact time frame) I received a series of weirdo phone calls. So creepy I knew they were weird at the time. One guy tried to get info about me to tell me a story about me walking in the woods, another who called and when I felt weird and tried to pass him off to my mother was like, "no, I want to talk to you" but was so super creepy I hung up on him and he called right back. He hung up when I made my mom answer, but he was really upset. I was on the east side at the time, but would have been old enough to have made a few class trips by then.

I wish I had anything additional that would helpful to contribute, but it was just a few isolated incidents.

One, this guy calls a lot of girls, including one as young as 4/5. Jonbenet was 6.

If it was indeed Amy's killer who called her, it's clear that he tried to improve his sales pitch. Christmas of course gave him the best possible sales pitch - Santa Claus.

Jonbenet's participation in child beauty pageants would certainly arouse his interest.

Kolar's primary objection to intruder is debunked. My theory is that Amy's killer called Jonbenet, pretending to be Santa Claus, and got her to simply open to door for her.
