The fail in logic is astounding.

This is an example of NO IDI explanation. Why would an intruder hide her body? Seriously, please answer that for me. Why would an intruder hide her body rather than take her with them and dump her, or leave her where she was? Did an intruder seriously believe she would NEVER EVER be found inside the house?

Serious question: Why would an intruder hide her body in a dark room in a basement?

you can turn it around and ask why would the Ramseys hide her body in a dark room in a basement? ?

Seriously, please answer that for me. Why would Ramsey hide her body rather than take her with them and dump her, or leave her where she was? Did an Ramsey seriously believe she would NEVER EVER be found inside the house?

If he wanted to ensure it was found, why hide it? If he had to bug out, not taking the kidnapped-turned-murdered with him, why did he leave the note?

Delay discovery to what end? If he were bugging out, why would he care when, where, and how she's found?

It makes zero logical sense.

the author of the ransom note most likely is familiar with the movie Dirty Harry

If we catch you talking to a stray dog, she dies. If you alert bank authorities, she dies. If the money is in any way marked or tampered with, she dies.

"If I even think you're being followed, the girl dies."
"If you talk to ayone, I don't care if it's a Pekinese p i s s ing against a lamppost, the girl dies." (JBR's RN says "If we catch you talking to a stray dog, she dies")
"... that's the end of the game. The girl dies." (the phrase "the girl dies" is used 3 times, just as in the JBR RN)
"It sounds like you had a good rest. You'll need it."

Scorpio ran around San Francisco leaving behind hand written messages for Dirty Harry to read.

instead of thinking of it as a ransom note, think of it as a written message. it is not clear if the intention of the author was to actually collect a ransom, and written message is broader category.

to answer the RDI claim that an intruder has no reason to leave behind a ransom note  and the body

the intruder left behind a written message, which may or may not be a sincere ransom demand, and the body

which has happened many times before (i.e jack the ripper, zodiac, charles manson, lipstick killer, beltway sniper, unabomber)

the written message has clear cut references to movie Dirty Harry,

and in the movie Dirty Harry Scorpio, and the real life Zodiac, left behind hand written messages for LE

why ? b/c that is what Scorpio did. he left handwritten notes for Dirty harry to find.

btw mama i didn't know what "bug out" was until i saw this

it's a survivalist term, after doomsday, survivalists preppers bug out in a location until disaster ends. i.e a nuclear war, you bug out in a underground bunker.

studying all these crimes and how easily it is to be murdered makes me think about survival, which led me to doomsday preppers.

you know i have thought about doomsday. i've not done anything to prepare for it.
