Jonbenet, small foreign faction and 1988 movie Die Hard w/ Bruce Willis

I've not seen this anywhere when I use the usual search engines, but when the ransom note states

We are a group of individuals that represent a small foreign faction. We do respect your bussiness [sic] but not the country that it serves.

if you've actually taken the time to watch Dirty Harry, Ransom, Speed, The Deer Hunter, and The Fugitive, you'll see a certain pattern. These are action thrillers. Dirty Harry, Ransom, and Speed feature a criminal mastermind who engages in a battle of wits with the protagonist, usually a detective or police officer.

Here's another one for you. Die Hard

John McClain is played by Bruce Willis, much as Dirty Harry was played by Clint Eastwood and Speed was played by Keanu Reeves.

This movie Hans Gruber, played by Allan Rickman, leads a foreign group (mostly German but 1 chinese 1 latino) a small foreign group of terrorists. 12 terrorists.

btw if you speak German fluently there was a scene that was kinda of a blooper

this is Hans Gruber the bad guy, leader of the terrorists, leader of small foreign faction

this is good guy bruce willis

here is a scene from movie

in this scene Hans Gruber, who is german, says Bruce Willis, an American, comes from a corrupt and degenerate culture. in other words, he does not respect the US as the ransom note says "we respect your business but not the country it serves"

Hans Gruber who says he does not respect the Japanese businessmen business b/c it is involved in exploitation.

Hans Gruber: [on the radio] Mr. Mystery Guest? Are you still there?

John McClane: Yeah, I'm still here. Unless you wanna open the front door for me.

Hans Gruber: Uh, no, I'm afraid not. But, you have me at a loss. You know my name but who are you? Just another American who saw too many movies as a child? Another orphan of a bankrupt culture who thinks he's John Wayne? Rambo? Marshal Dillon?

John McClane: Was always kinda partial to Roy Rogers actually. I really like those sequined shirts.

Hans Gruber: Do you really think you have a chance against us, Mr. Cowboy?

John McClane: Yippee-ki-yay, motherfucker.

Hans frequently talks to other terrorists in German, accentuating that they are a small foreign faction.

the twist is he claims to be a terrorists but he actually wants money. the twist in Jonbenet is it claims to be a kidnapping for ransom money but I think it is a thrill kill.

hans Gruber and John Mcclane both call one another "cowboys"

John McClane: You'd have made a pretty good cowboy yourself, Hans.

Hans Gruber: Oh, yes. What was it you said to me before? "Yippie-ki-yay, motherfucker."

the ransom note taunts John to use that good common southern sense.

Hans Gruber makes terrorist demands

Hans: The following people are to be released from their captors: In Northern Ireland, the seven members of the New Provo Front. In Canada, the five imprisoned leaders of Liberte de Quebec. In Sri Lanka, the nine members of the Asian Dawn movement...

John McClane: [listening on the radio] What the fuck?

Karl: [mouthing silently] Asian Dawn?

Hans: [covers the radio] I read about them in Time magazine.

the twist is

John McClane: So that's is what this is about, Hans? A fucking robbery?

Hans Gruber: Put down the gun.

John McClane: Why'd you have to nuke the whole building, Hans?

Hans Gruber: Well, when you steal $600, you can just disappear. When you steal 600 million, they will find you, unless they think you're already dead.

Hans Gruber explaining the mind games he plays with the FBI.

Hans Gruber: The circuits that cannnot be cut are cut automatically in response to a terrorist incident. You asked for miracles, Theo, I give you the FBI.

this all happened on Christmas as Jonbenet was also murdered on Christmas.

Joseph Takagi: You want money? What kind of terrorists are you?

Hans Gruber: Who said we were terrorists?

in other words, who said Jonbenet's killer was a kidnapper for ransom money?

Hans Gruber a mastermind much like Dirty harry Ransom and Speed

Hans Gruber: [addressing the hostages] I wanted this to be professional, efficient, adult, cooperative. Not a lot to ask. Alas, your Mr. Takagi did not see it that way... so he won't be joining us for the rest of his life. We can go any way you want it. You can walk out of here or be carried out. But have no illusions. We are in charge. So, decide now, each of you. And please remember: we have left nothing to chance.

here he outlines his intension

Hans Gruber: When they touch down, we'll blow the roof, they'll spend a month sifting through rubble, and by the time they figure out what went wrong, we'll be sitting on a beach, earning twenty percent.

Jonbenet's killer felt once LE finds Jonbenet's body they will be shifting through the clues and concluding the parents did it. He is Scorpio and Hans Gruber.

Holly Gennero McClane: After all your posturing, all your little speeches, you're nothing but a common thief.

Hans Gruber: I am an exceptional thief, Mrs. McClane. And since I'm moving up to kidnapping, you should be more polite.

for all the posturing Jonbenet's killer isn't a kidnapper for ransom but a common thrill killer.

Cop: Sir, the FBI is here.

Dwayne T. Robinson: Oh, the FBI is here, now?

Cop: Yes, sir. Right over there.

Dwayne T. Robinson: Hold this.

[straightens his jacket]

Sergeant Al Powell: Want a breath mint?

why did RN say we respect your business? Die Hard Hans Gruber explains it

Hans Gruber: Due to the Nakatomi Corporation's legacy of greed around the globe, they are about to be taught a lesson in the real use of power. You will be witnesses.

emphasis on Christmas

Hans Gruber: Theo, are we on schedule?

Theo: One more to go then it's up to you. And you better be right, because it looks like this last one is going to take a miracle.

Hans Gruber: It's Christmas, Theo. It's the time of miracles. So be of good cheer... and call me when you hit the last lock.

I suspect SBTC is a reference to the last lock in the movie,SBTC means that the last lock is unlocked as in Die Hard.

FBI Special Agent Johnson: Figure we take out the terrorists. Lose twenty, twenty-five percent of the hostages, tops.

FBI Agent Johnson: I can live with that.

Hans Gruber: Now, you can break the code?

Theo: You didn't bring me along for my charming personality.

in order to understand the Ransom note, and get into the fantasy life of the perp,
add Die Hard to a list that contains Speed Ransom Dirty Harry The Fugitive and The Deer Hunter of must watch.

If you only knew the POWER of the Daubert side
