Random thoughts on 'white flowers'

Since you don't want posts in that thread I figured I'd start this thread for when I/we feel like saying something about some of the cases.

Yeah and I'm sure this will be pointed out in court during the lawsuit. Wont help much though but if I'm on that jury, I'm siding with the bar.

This is one of those cases where I've done the same thing she did and I can relate. Hard to imagine the horror of being killed as you walk outside the bar.

On the other hand, she's alive if she simply follows the rules. These laws are in place for many reasons. I don't necessarily agree with them but they do prevent some tragedies when followed.

Oh and I hate her nose ring. They look so ridiculous. One time a friend of ours got one and none of us liked it and she eventually took it out. She felt like an idiot afterwards too. Its a shitty trend. Just get a tattoo.

I just read an article about her. Her killed her outside of Dunkin Donuts. Awful.  Sounds like a really sweet person but she had made a video a couple years ago about domestic violence so she clearly had a history.

I don't want to sound too callous but there is something wrong with women who have a history of domestic violence. I'm not excusing him. He's clearly a piece of trash. I'd like to know why her(or anyone) would stay. It's a character flaw or an indicator that they grew up in a house where this was normal.

A regular person does not stay. Not the same thing but when I was 19 I was slapped across the face by a guy I knew casually at a party. It was unacceptable. Yeah the liquor was flowing and I was probably running my mouth too much but you never cross that line. I never spoke to him again and after a friend's brother had a little 'chat' with him, he never tried getting in touch with me again and he vanished from our circle of friends.

If I had let that slide, it would've been an invitation for him to keep doing it. Like giving a seal of approval.

The moment a guy hits you, walk away. If you don't, it's all on you .

Oh wow I think I've been to that Dunkin Donuts although there's probably more than one in Lake Forest. Trippy.

I love Chicago. It's beautiful yet has a certain grittiness to it. We went to a pizza place there that was out of this world. Giordano's. Ground beef and mushrooms. Extra thin crust. two pitchers of beer.

yeah if you go through my older threat it takes me a couple of days to go through just the photos and how they met their demise. so adding conversation like this would make a long list even longer

Oh you're a pizza junkie too! No matter what town I'm visiting I HAVE to try their pizza. Thank god for the internet. You can look up restaurants long before you get there.

The best pizza I ever ate was at a pier in New Jersey. I don't remember the name. It was NY style. I do know if I go back to Jersey I'm heading straight for that pier. It was one of those places you just buy by the slice.

I've ate a lot of fast food or at restaurants. A lot of people cut back after college but I didn't. I'm single and its much easier for me to pick something up on the way home. I do cook from time to time but its not really worth the hassle. if I eat something at home its usually salad, fruit, yogurt, etc. I've always had great metabolism so never really worried about weight gain. I'm fairly active anyways.

Either a pizzeria or a burger joint. Sometimes both. It has to be something unique for me to veer away from those options. I also love Hof Braus but they can usually only be found in major cities. I also love steak. I was in Georgia a couple years ago and ate at this restaurant that had steamed hot dogs, they even steamed the buns. Holy shit was that good.

I have a tattoo on my ankle. Barb wire. A really generic, dumb choice. I don't regret the tattoo but I do wish I had been more creative with it.

I'm single by choice. I'm not good with relationships and they cant go beyond casual. I broke up with my boyfriend in 2016 and we had been together two years. Longest relationship I had been involved in. I just got burnt out. It was the same thing over and over...equivalent of Groundhog Day. He was a college student. He'd spend the night 2-3 times a week. We'd sometimes go to concerts. He was a really nice guy but I was done. We were just running in place so I cut him loose.

Its not that I cant stay faithful its that I have certain trust/intimacy issues. I only allow people to get so close. Get any closer, I shut down emotionally. I'm not an expert or a psychiatrist but I think its due to the casual sex/relationships as a teen. How you conduct yourself in your youth usually sets you on a specific course. I didn't have the cliche long term high school boyfriend that most people have.

Been alone ever since dumping him and I'm fine with it. I don't understand why so many people fear being alone. There's a certain comfort in solitude...what little of it I get anyways.

i love pizza but those calories. hell even costco pizza i think is good pizza but again the fat.

i prefer stuff pizza but again the calories lol.

when it comes to hamburger my fav is fuddrucker's which sadly seemingly local.

chicago has a unique resturant called baker's square and their speciality is pies, as in barvarian creme pie yum

there's also potbelly's which is roast beef sandwich shop and panda express for orange flavored chicken

when it comes to fast food i like mcdonalds fish sandwidch

well i don't have any tat's or piercings, so i guess i'm a bit on the conservative side.

I did a bit more digging. I have been to that Dunkin Donuts. Its the one by the metra station. Jesus. Can you imagine ordering a maple bar and having to witness a guy shoot his ex?

I LOVE Fuddruckers. I also love the regional chains like Habit burger and In N Out. Smashburger is pretty good too but there aren't very many of them.

Ever been to krystal? Its like a White Castle clone. Neither is in my area unfortunately.

My laptop just fucked everything up. I had to reboot for an update and after it restarted, I clicked on mozilla and EVERYTHING was gone. I mean everything. This is my main computer that I use. Its like mozilla is brand new with a clean slate.

I have the day off tomorrow but on Thursday I'm gonna have to bring it in to work and see if one of those guys can retrieve all my stuff.

yep...windows10 which I was hesitant about in the first place. this is really fucked up. I had work related stuff on there as well. Its one thing to lose all my favorite site bookmarks, logged in passwords, etc. but losing that stuff a major bummer.


In N Out is incredible. If you're ever on the west coast, immediately go to one after leaving the airport. They remind me of my grandma's hamburgers when I was a kid.

What keeps In N Out so amazing is their basic menu. Its hamburger, cheeseburger, a double, fries, soda and shakes. Nothing else. They're smart. They have learned from the major companies like McD's, BK, etc. Do you wanna know a killer place that didn't learn? Chick-Fil-A.

They used to have a basic menu like In N Out. Then they decided to branch out when certain food fads started up. Now they're diluting their product. You cant do that. Once you try to pull a McDonalds and be everything to everybody, product quality suffers.

My mom(and others) have told me how amazing McDonalds was in the 70s and 80s. In the 90s, they started branching out and expanding their menu. Quality went into decline. In the 2000s they even tried being Starbucks and this sent quality down the toilet. They survive merely on the global footprint of their brand.

Did you know Mcdonalds usually comes in last in taste tests? You wouldn't know that by their profit margins.

Habit is amazing too. They have a condiment station. Ketchup, mustard, A1, worcestershire sauce, peppers. I always get an A1 burger, heavy mayo.

Yes. He was a freak who never should've been let out of prison in the first place. He had also murdered some young woman before he killed Esme.

It's really sad seeing that blog again after all these years. Poor Esme.  She didn't deserve such a cruel fate.

Her case deserved a lot more publicity than it got. had she been killed by a white guy I guarantee it would've got more coverage. She really comes to life in her blog postings. Going by memory here but she was listening to her Ipod while jogging and he saw her. He was supposed to "just rape her" and she didn't fight this because she wanted to live. She simply begged him not to kill her. After he was done raping her he choked her to death with her panties or socks. He then set her genitals on fire, took her Ipod, and ran away. Cops searching for her stumbled upon him in the same area. he acted suspicious and of course he had her Ipod.

I hope this guy gets beat to death in prison. Best case scenario would be someone setting his dick on fire.

yeah I think they smoked a joint on the way to school. I forgot the details but I do know he should not have been driving a carload of teens to school. No teenager should be driving a bunch of teens anywhere.

Idiot pulled out in front of a damn dump truck at a stoplight because he was too impatient, likely talking/laughing with his passengers, and laura had to die for it. Just inexcusable.

i do think its highly risky to be a passenger of a car driven by a teen as laura yost death shows.

I don't buy into the crap they're now selling about marijuana being this great thing and its good for you. Let me rephrase that. I do buy into it...I have several marijuana related stocks in my portfolio(GW, Cannimed, CannabisSativa, INSYS). but I don't believe a word of it. My interest is strictly financial.

Do you wanna know why they're saying all this stuff now? Money. Once they discovered you could make a killing on legal marijuana, the floodgates instantly opened. It started with medical marijuana and letting a certain amount of people have medical marijuana cards. That's when i took notice. I knew they were testing the market. I also know people who smoke and knew it was gonna go over like gangbusters. Then they started creating a false narrative surrounding marijuana. They've now funded studies that say not only is it not a gateway drug, it's the exact opposite! There's decades of research proving its a gateway drug. It's all being buried in the name of a dollar.

We're in the process of advocating smoking marijuana being pushed in the mainstream. Not just smoking it. eating it, drinking it, etc. The feds have some issues with this but they're just gonna sit back and let it happen. There's too many companies in on the action now. Within a decade it will be legal in all 50 states. Within a couple years you'll see people walking around smoking joints like you do cigarettes. It already happens here now.

Its still going to cause as many accidents as it did previously but you wont be hearing about this very often. It will still cause teenagers to experiment with more serious drugs but you wont be hearing about this anymore. Like I said, they're about to push a new narrative.

yeah we've made some progress on tobacoo smoking. my school told me it causes lung cancer and emphysema.

This is one of the most horrifying and stupid deaths I've ever heard of. I don't care how cold it is. How can anyone think it's a good idea to place a BBQ pit inside of a tent? It's inexcusable.

As I get older and look back more on my childhood and teen years I realize how kids really depend on someone older than them keeping them on the right path and preventing as many idiotic decisions as possible, even if they don't think they need the guidance in certain situations. Lives literally depend on it.

Jessica suffered from deep depression for a long time, Sarah said, and “didn’t see a purpose in life.”

Sarah said Jessica spoke of wanting to die and wanting to take her dog with her. Tragically, David also shot the family dog before ending his own life.

Wow. I didn't see that in neither article I read. That puts a different spin on it. She wanted to take her dog with her and her brother just happened to kill the dog too?

In most cases you wind up ok although these situations do lead to sexual incidents(not a surprise). In her case...she wound up dead.

You really have to monitor the situation at these parties. Yes everyone loves to drink but don't go overboard. If you go too far....your chances of being thrown a life raft are small. The people with the life raft in their hands are just as drunk as you are. If you're underage, they're gonna delay tossing the life raft even longer.

her twitter and instagram is average. Doesn't seem too wild but she's not little red riding hood either. She's drinking. She had 4 tattoos and had pulled her tongue ring out a month before being murdered. Looks to be into casual/hookups although doesn't go into great detail.

I know her type well. They go a little crazy when they hit that magic number 18. She should've been in college. She would've fit in well.

A couple of her tweets are sad. She mentions needing someone to install her car stereo. THis is what led to her being raped and murdered. Talking to some of the guys she knows about it and he was there....starting the chain reaction.

It was reported that the teenager had been sledding and was struck when the sled entered the roadway and slid into the path of the oncoming vehicle.

police said Anna was riding her skateboard down her driveway and into the roadway when she was hit by a vehicle.

Hers is probably the most pointless suicide ever. Kill yourself over a guy who literally doesn't even wait for your body to get cold.

What a waste. I don't even know what's going through their head. Yeah teen breakups suck but you get over it fairly quickly.

Instead of moving on to another guy or staying single, playing softball, and going to college, THIS was the choice she made.

i actually was going to post a new thread on this if i get more examples but Courtnee and Hannah Green are two examples of suicide over boy IMO but these are the only 2 examples i know of, and courtnee bc of u.

what she did is kinda old fashion romance. not that i know her personally. but her mother says she was so in love and she couldn't imagine life with her boyfriend who dumped her.
