I just watched the first two episodes of Oxygen

A Plan to Kill - Season 1

A Plan to Kill is a true-crime series that examines the story of sadistic and meticulous killers who plan their victims' murders for weeks, months or even years. Each stand-alone episode is brought to life through a tapestry of firsthand interviews with investigators and those close to the victim. Over the course of the hour, we'll follow detectives on a winding investigation. They'll work through dead ends, red herrings and misdirects planted by the killer to throw them off... all in their quest to identify the guilty party and bring them to justice.  

I have never heard of these crimes prior to watching it.

both these cases are real and are home intruder cases, they were murdered in their own homes by an intruder.

the killer was caught, and it came out the killer meticulously planned the murder several months in advance of the murder, including stalking and visiting the house and even entering the house days even weeks and months in advance of the murder. in the first episode the killer even knew about the security cameras as part of his planning months in advance of the murder

the answer is yes, all of that is evidence of an intruder.


my theory is Jonbenet's killer Mr Cruel meticulously planned Jonbenet's murder months in advance of her killing, including entering the home and casing the place weeks and even months ahead of her death. I posit Mr Cruel removed Patsy's yellow notepad weeks to months ahead, replaced it with his own yellow pad, wrote the ransom note in his own home days to weeks before the killing, and returned to replace the note pads, so the Ramsey never noticed it went missing.

the first two episodes shows 2 real world examples of intruder killers planning to kill months in advance, knowing about the security cameras and disabling them, and entering the home and killing, keeping track of the victims comings and goings and daily life, months ahead, and meticulous detailed planning. the second one was a burglarly-murder, planned ahead of time

and discuss this in the context of Jonbenet and intruder, except he's now in prison and i had a heart attack so my days are numbered.
