James Kolar had a reddit QA similar to  Mark Beckner,
i'm not going to cover everything but

2. I agree, I see many similarities as well, and pains were taken to disguise the writing, both during the crafting of the note, and in post-event writing by Patsy. I am aware that a couple experts believe Patsy was the author but are unwilling to say so publically at the moment. Given all of the circumstances surrounding the note, I am of the belief that she wrote it unassisted.

that's some weak sauce right there.

• Question:
1. One of the things that nobody seemed to ask and I never understood why: did anybody ever toss out the idea that the intruder may have been dressed in a Santa costume and that's how he coaxed Jon Benet out of her bed? It's a sickening thought, I know, but then again so is everything else about this case.
2. Also... why wasn't John more insistent on investigating those who knew his bonus amount?

Answer:
I believe the family pointed to Santa as being involved so I guess you could speculate that he was dressed up for the occasion.
As for the second question, I couldn’t say

i wonder if this person read my blog.

the scenario of a girl leaving her home was also in the news
http://www.npr.org/2015/03/30/396280339/4-year-old-girl-boards-bus-alone-at-3-a-m-to-get-a-slushie

Good morning. I'm David Greene. Passengers on a city bus at 3 a.m. in Philadelphia saw something odd - a little girl dressed in a raincoat over her pajamas boarded by herself. She reportedly told other passengers, all I want is a slushie. She'd woken up hungry, slipped out the back door of her home and caught the bus. The driver called police, and the 4-year-old was safely returned to her family. On local TV, the girl's mom told her, yes, you can have a slushie. Next time, just ask me to take you. It's MORNING

heres the 4 year old

A raincoat-clad Philadelphia 4-year-old girl in search of a slushie slipped out the back door of her home at 3 a.m. on Friday, city authorities said, and began wandering the neighborhood in a heavy rain, on a quest for the frozen treat.

Luckily, a friendly city bus driver picked her up. A few minutes later, police delivered her into the arms of her grateful mother.

The bus driver, 52-year-old Harlan Jenifer, had just stopped his SEPTA bus in the city's Tacony neighborhood to let out a passenger. That's when a man standing in the rain told him to wait.

The girl was standing alone in a purple raincoat. "I'm like, 'Oh, God, what's going on here?' It was shocking, more or less," Jenifer told The Philadelphia Inquirer. "She was drenching wet. She was trembling."

The girl clambered onto the bus and told passengers, "All I want is a slushie."

Surveillance video showed her roaming the bus and swinging her tiny legs in a seat. Passengers chatted with her while Jenifer called the police, who took her to St. Christopher's Hospital, where they reunited her with her mother.

Jenifer, a father of three, said afterwards, "I was scared for her, but it was funny. She was in good hands."

The girl's father, Timothy Ridgeway, told the Associated Press, "Thank God for the bus driver stopping."

Police said no charges would be filed against the family — they were unaware that she'd even left. Police said the girl, who hours earlier had been put to bed, got up and tried the front door. It was locked, so she slipped out the back door.

The girl, whose name was not released, "was in good spirits," Jenifer said. "It was like she knew where she was going."

Actually, she did: a 24-hour 7-Eleven store, which sells Slurpees, was just three blocks away.

if a 4 year old blonde blue eyed female can wake up 3am in the morning and leave her home for a slushie, and board a bus okay,
her family wasn not even aware she left, and the front door was locked, okay, then regarding james kolar

if some stranger told that  4 year old girl to leave her house at 3am in the morning to buy her slushie, you can see she could have and would have. he could have then snatched her and left a mystery as to what really happened to her. i big mystery. her house front door was locked. so people would speculate the parents.

Secret Santa Visit

Carnes Account. "On December 25, 1996, while playing at the home of a neighborhood friend, JonBenet told her friend's mother that "Santa Claus" was going to pay her a "special" visit after Christmas and that it was a secret. (SMF P 124; PSMF P 124.) The person who may have said this to JonBenet has never been identified. (SMF P 125; PSMF P 125.)" (Carnes 2003:101).
PMPT Account. "Barbara Kostanick was the mother of a playmate of JBR's. She asserted: "The day before Christmas, JonBenet was at our house playing with Megan. The kids were talking about Santa, getting all excited. I asked JonBenet if she had visited Santa Claus yet. She said, “Oh, Santa was at our Christmas party the other night.” Megan had seen Santa at the Pearl Street Mall, so we talked about that. Then JonBenet said, “Santa Claus promised that he would make a secret visit after Christmas.” I thought she was confused. “Christmas is tonight,” I told her. “And Santa will be coming tonight.” “No, no” JonBenet insisted. “He said this would be after Christmas. And it’s a secret” (Schiller 1999:38-39).

it is obvious that one way an intruder could have gotten in was jonbenet age 6 opened the door for Santa, just as the girl age 4 above shows.
