On September 10, 2018,  beautiful three-and-a-half year old Paisley Vanek was killed in a car accident. She was riding in the car with her mom, Amber, and her aunt, Tamra, and cousin, Norah, when it was struck from the side by a driver who ran a red light. Paisley was killed on impact.

According to Ohio State Highway Patrol, a 49-year-old driver mistakenly ran a red light at Washington Street and Munn Road in Auburn Township Monday around 3 p.m.

Natasha Boggs, 24, is accused of striking and killing two Coventry Middle School students while texting and driving in Coventry Township, Ohio, according to The Washington Post.

Many are mourning the death of the two teens, Taylor Galloway and Amber Thoma, both 14. GoFundMe pages were set up for both students to fund their funerals and support their families. Both students were set to graduate eighth grade.
Authorities say that Boggs was texting on her phone when she struck the students on May 28 at about 4:45 p.m. while driving north on South Main Street in her 1999 Ford Escort, according to Canton Rep. She allegedly traveled over the fog line and struck the students along the edge of the road.

The Akron Beacon Journal said that vehicles on the road travel north on a single lane and only about a foot of pavement separates the white edge line on the right of the grass. The speed limit was 40 mph.

Galloway was pronounced dead at the scene while Thoma was transported to Akron Children’s Hospital where she was pronounced dead, according to the news outlet. A 15-year-old boy was also seriously injured and taken to Children’s Hospital. We lost our sweet sunshine Scarlett unexpectedly and tragically July 12th 2018.  She had a very brief illness which overwhelmed her body.  The illness is still unknown, but they are continuing to investigate it and we pray we have an answer soon.

Sophia Daugherty is a beautiful, sweet, 5th grader at Laurel Elementary who is currently fighting for her life at UPMC Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh. She has suffered from type 1 diabetes most of Her life. Her blood sugar dropped very low and as a result, she suffered a traumatic brain injury while spending the night at her best friends house this past weekend.

Sam, as her friends and family called her, was competing at the Hares and Hounds invitational cross-country event in Charlotte on Saturday, Sept. 22. She collapsed at the 4K mark and went into cardiac arrest.

Her mother, Rebecca Davis, previously told the newspaper that her daughter suffered a softball-related injury in 2016 that resulted in seizures and an epilepsy diagnosis.

 She collapsed at a track meet and remained unconscious. Her organs were shutting down and doctors prepared the family for the worst

A Wolfeboro teen was killed Wednesday in an accident that occurred when a dump truck struck her car at the intersection of Route 28 and Water Village Road.

Chairman of the Ossipee Board of Selectmen Rick Morgan said his heart goes out to the family and says the town has been urging the state to fix the intersection for years.

At 7:14 a.m., the Ossipee Police Department responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident on Route 28, at the intersection of Route 171, according to a press release from Ossipee police.

A dump truck driven by Joseph Goodrow, 61, of Alton was northbound on Route 28 when it struck a Chevrolet Cobalt driven by Ramsie Taylor, 17, of Wolfeboro that entered the intersection from the east (Water Village Road). Taylor was killed upon impact.
