Jun 29, 2018 - A renewed wave of DNA testing in the JonBenet Ramsey case has been completed and although investigators are not talking about what was ..

Boulder completed in 2018 a new round of DNA testing.

the results of this new round was NOT publicly released.

still, as of Tue Mar 03, 2020

it's worth considering anticipating these results,

for example,

it is conceivable the new round didn't reveal any new information already uncovered by previous DNA testing.

however,

it's worth considering other possible results,

for example, how would results of the latest 2018 DNA testing affect the debate of IDI vs RDI

if instead of 10 markers in 1997, they found a full 16 markers, from a single source, and in the panties, and that the 2 profiles on her long johns are also 16 markers excluding Ramsey's as a source?

what if the same unknown male profile is also found on crime scene items such as the ligature, paint brush, under her finger nails, or other areas of clothing or other articles of clothing?

what if, they also use Y-STR dna testing and discover the same male DNA profile via Y-STR mixed in the blood in the panties and on the long johns, and excluding the Ramseys as a source?

what if they also discovered same mitochondrial DNA in the same locations, in the blood mixed with panties and long johns, and excluding the Ramseys as a source?

what if they find nuclear DNA, mitochondrial DNA and  Y-STR dna when they re-test the blood on JBR's panties and long johns?

what if they find mitochondrial DNA and  Y-STR dna that match under the fingernails, the ligature and cordage, the paint brush, and other articles of clothing?

how would you respond if DNA experts conclude an intruder did this crime, based on the latest round of DNA testing?

affraid
