Triangle 2009 who killed group 2 victor?

i'm still thinking and re-watching Triangle 2009

Peng Yang Triangle Movie Logic Explanation part



like Peng i am enchanted by the logic and "real world" of this paranormal story.

Peng asks a question

who killed group 2 victor?

here we see group 1 jess point the gun at group 2 jess, using Peng's nomenclature





group 2 jess runs away and group 1 jess conforts group 2 victor

here we see injured group 2 victor, injured by group 1 jess



later we see that group 2 downey was shot and killed




and our jess, group 1 jess, shoots and hits group -1 jess, stage 3



and our jess, group 1 jess, tries to find group 2 victor but only finds blood





here mean jess,





was asked by downey with sally next to him where's victor

and mean jess replies, he's dead, he fell over the side

downey asks how do we know you didn't kill him?

jess replies you don't but if you want to live come with me.

so i thought mean jess was the one who killed group 2 victor, not group 2 jess.

this hasn't been entirely ruled out.

but i also think

that Peng could be partially right

group 2 jess did kill group 2 victor.

where i think peng might not be correct is whether group 2 jess killed group 2 victor out of malice which woudl imply his highly convoluted 7-stage in which he hypothesis 2 types of jess, jess who boards with memroy and jess who boards with no memory

or whether group 2 jess kills group 2 victor in self-defense.

its' strongly implies that the loop mostly repeats itself over and over.

in the previous loop, our jess, group 1 jess is attacked by group 1 victor and she then kills victor in self-defense and expresses remorse.

so since the loop mostly repeates itself,

group 2 jess then approaches group 2 victor, then group 2 victor attempts to strangle group 2 jess, then she engages in self defense

basically group 2 jess is repeating this







group 2 victor didn't attack our jess because she was holding a gun

group 2 jess approaches injured group 2 victor, he attackes group 2 jess, she kills group 2 victor in self-defense.

no need to hypothesize she has memory and a complex 7 stages. she doesn't remember but kills victor in self-defense

but when group 2 jess returned without the gun, he attacks and loop repeats



then mean jess sees victor's dead body and then drags his lifeless body and tosses it over the sea

so i agree with Peng that the only person who killed group 2 victor is group 2 jess, who is in stage 1.

i don't agree this implies group 2 jess has her memory retained in his complicated 7 stages.

she was simply acting in self-defense.

then mean jess who is in stage 3, from group -1, comes along and tosses his body over the sea.

group 2 jess then kills mean jess, and progresses to stage 2 where she injures victor of group 3.

our jess then enters stage 3 and kills everyone from group 3, except is killed by group 3 jess.

in summary

peng says the crucial question for resolving Triangle is, who killed group 2 victor

in his theory only group 2 jess killed group 2 victor, and only because she arrived with full knowledge and full memory intact and knows how the loop functions and is trying to protect it from being disturbed.

i agree that group 2 jess killed group 2 victor, but based on the loop with our jess, group 2 jess killed group 2 victor in self-defense. mean jess comes along and dumps his body into the sea.

no need to hypothesis a complex 7 stages. group 2 jess doesn't have any memory of the past, she went to sleep on the triangle and woke up with all her memory forgotten.

group 2 jess saw an injured group 2 victor, tries to help him, but group 2 victor is angry and tries to strangle her, and she kills him in self defense just like what happened with group 1 jess and group 1 victor.
