Like a Star @ heaven Like a Star @ heaven Like a Star @ heaven holly's friends are baby boomers and when they were born in the 1960s (1966) and were little girls in the 1970s, who are now almost 50s in age now, tell me when they were little girls in the 70s one of the most meaningful song they sang together, holly and them, and when they hear it they think of is  bad company seagulls

"Seagull"

Seagull, you fly across the horizon
Into the misty morning sun.
Nobody asks you where you are going,
Nobody knows where you're from.

Here is a man asking the question
Is this really the end of the world?
Seagull, you must have known for a long time
The shape of things to come.
Now you fly, through the sky, never asking why,
And you fly all around 'til somebody, Shoots you down.

Da da da da da da da down.
Mm mm mm mm, mm mm.

Seagull, you fly, across the horizon,
Into the misty morning sun.
Nobody asks you where you are going,
Nobody knows where you are from,
Now you fly through the sky, never asking why,
And you fly all around 'til somebody, yeah,
Shoots you down. Mm mm, yeah.
Seagull you fly, seagull you fly away.

And you fly away today
And you fly away tomorrow
And you fly away, leave me to
my sorrow.
Mm, mm, mm.

Seagull go and fly, mm, mm, mm,
Fly to your tomorrow, leave me to my sorrow, fly.

i admit prior to dana point jane doe i had never even heard of this song.
i had no idea such a song even existed.
holly's friends then asked me what i think.
i'm like ummmmm

seagulls i dont think much about. i do think this is a kind of "inspirational" type song. the seagull and you know flying freedom over the skies over the oceans. i think seagulls for holly and her friends is like "deep"

Holly Glynn and her close friends are of the Baby Boom generation, and were adult 20-30 year old adult women when Walt Disney released movies and songs in the 90s's.

i will say this, there is one song i can think of that is basically the equivalent to bad company seagulls that is also about an animal in my growing up

From the day we arrive on the planet
And blinking, step into the sun
There's more to see than can ever be seen
More to do than can ever be done

There's far too much to take in here
More to find than can ever be found
But the sun rolling high
Through the sapphire sky
Keeps great and small on the endless round

It's the Circle of Life
And it moves us all
Through despair and hope
Through faith and love

Till we find our place
On the path unwinding
In the Circle
The Circle of Life

It's the Circle of Life
And it moves us all
Through despair and hope
Through faith and love

Till we find our place
On the path unwinding
In the Circle
The Circle of Life

you know this is music not sports but i do think a lion is more awe inspiring than a seagull.

what i think of Dana Point Jane Doe Holly Jo Glynn favorite song Bad Company's seagulls Lion-king-eastern-michigan

holly and her friends didn't grow up with disney classics like beauty and the beast, aladin, lion king, little mermaid, mulan, pocahontas in their childhood of the 1970s. so sad.

this song is about flying

my personal fav disney song

conclusion
bad company seagulls was the disney music, the lion king circle of life, for 70s era girls.
