Mr Cruel arrived at Sharon's home with her parents present, and while he had intentions of a ransom note, he did not type one out on a typewriter ahead of time. Same with Nicola Lynas. He had intentions of a ransom note and made ransom demand but he did not arrive at the crime scene with a pre-written ransom note.

so lets get this clear. Mr Cruel expects John, John Wills, to go to the bank when it opens in the morning and get his ransom money, and then he will deliver Sharon Wills, his daughter.

The intruder expected John, John Ramsey, to go to the bank, just as John Wills was supposed to do, early in the morning, 8 am is morning, just as John Wills was supposed to do.

as far as delivery/pickup, did Mr Cruel deliver Sharon Wills or did he arrange for her to be picked up? Mr Cruel physically carried Sharon Wills over a long distance, which was exhausting and told Sharon Wills so and needed rest.

Sharon told police she sensed Mr Cruel was reversing out of the driveway. He drove for what she described as a long time, sometimes fast, sometimes slow. He eventually stopped and got out.

Mr Cruel lifted the garbage bag-clad Sharon out of the car and carried her for a distance, stopping now and then to put her down while he rested.

Sharon said he was jogging while carrying her.

He eventually put her down and told her how to get to a nearby Food Plus store.

it could be $100k as a nice even # plus 18 as a # with special significance for Mr Cruel personally. 18 was how many hours he held Sharon Wills captive. mr cruel did not necessarily know the John Ramsey bonus that year.

despite this, Mr Cruel's actual intention was pedophile sexual gratification of a minor.
