Nearly 47 years after beautiful, precious, eleven-year-old Teri vanished from in front of her Torrance home on Thanksgiving Day, 1972, and was found murdered the next day, police finally identified a suspect. Jake Edward Brown (who had since died in 2003) was revealed in 2018 as a person of interest through DNA based investigation. Then in September 2019, he was confirmed to be the murder suspect by the testing of his remains exhumed from an Arizona cemetery.
