Ava Markus A 16-year-old girl

A 16-year-old girl died Oct. 12, 2022 days after she was critically hurt in a crash in Northern Kentucky, according to the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office.

Ava Markus, a cheerleader at Campbell County High School, was pronounced dead on Tuesday at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, a coroner’s report shows.

She was taken to the hospital from a crash involving a semi-tractor-trailer and an SUV that collided on 4000 Alexandria Pike about 6 p.m. Oct. 2,, 2022 Campbell County Fire Chief Dan Schultz said.

Laurel Flaherty, 22

Pembroke, Massachusetts, woman died after a tree fell on her car during a storm in Nashville.

Laurel Flaherty, 22, was a first-year law student at Belmont University.

Winter Kadince Brouillard Age 15, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Gillettes Children's Hospital in St. Paul, MN.

She was born on April 11, 2007 in Green Bay, WI to Crystal Breeden and Michael Brouillard.

Winter attended school in Cornell, WI and was presently a sophomore in High School at Rice Lake High School in Rice Lake, WI.

16-year-old Baleigh Bowlin and 16-year-old Chloe Taylor

Two teen girls who went missing after attending their homecoming dance at East Central High School were found dead along Highway 613 between Agricola and Hurley early Sunday morning.i Oct 16, 2022

According to Jackson County Coroner Bruce Lynd, the victims are 16-year-old Baleigh Bowlin and 16-year-old Chloe Taylor, both from Jackson County.

Sheriff Ezell says the teens were involved in a single-car crash at the intersection at Highway 613 and Lum Reeves Road. The Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to the scene around 5:30 a.m. Sunday. There they found a 2012 Nissan Altima driven by Taylor with Bowlin as a passenger.

MHP says the car left the road and crashed into an embankment and tree.

The students of East Central High spent Monday mourning the loss of their fellow classmates, according to superintendent John Strycker.

Faith Ann Larsen, age 19, of North Mankato, passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Mayo Clinic Health System - St. Marys Campus in Rochester. On October 15, Faith went into cardiac arrest and was unable to recover. In her last selfless act on earth, Faith was an organ donor.

A Springville teenager who was struck by a pickup truck while walking to school on Tuesday morning Oct 25, 2022 has died from her injuries.


Lilly Warren, a 17-year-old senior at Springville High, was hit near 620 S. Canyon Road at about 7:44 a.m. According to Springville police, the driver remained on the scene and cooperated with the investigation. The teenager was taken to Utah Valley Hospital, where she died on Wednesday. Oct 26, 2022

Tributes have been paid to an 18-year-old who lost her life in a two-car crash overnight in Co Donegal.

The teenager, named locally as Chloe Gallagher Fanneran, was a front seat passenger in a car involved in a crash just before midnight on the Ramelton Road outside Letterkenny.

She was pronounced dead at the scene of the horrific crash close to the entrance to the Tara Court housing estate.

Four University of Idaho students found dead of suspected homicides in off-campus housing were named by officials Monday.November 14, 2022

The Moscow Police Department identified the four college kids as Ethan Chapin, 20, Madison Mogen, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Kaylee GonCalves, 21. The four appeared to be friends based off social media accounts. Chapin and Kernodle appeared to be in a relationship.

The tragic discovery Sunday originally led the university to order students to shelter in place until police ensured there was no ongoing threat to the community.




Kaylee GonCalves, a 21-year-old, senior from Rathdrum, who graduated from Lake City High, majoring in General Studies in the College of Letters, Arts, and Social Sciences.





The second victim, also a Lake City High graduate, Madison Mogen, also a 21-year-old senior from Coeur d’Alene, who was majoring in Marketing at the College of Business and Economics.




Kaylee & Madison were lifelong childhood friends.



Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin were believed to be in a relationship before their deaths.





Xana Kernodle, a 20-year-old junior from Post Falls, was majoring in Marketing in the College of Business and Economics and was a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority.

Ella Henderson was seriously injured at Gosforth Park First School, Newcastle, on 25 September 2020, and died the next day at the Royal Victoria Infirmary.

A California correctional deputy and his daughter were killed in a horrific head-on collision with a suspected drunk driver late Sunday evening. 

Daniel Jacks Jr., 45, and Hannah Jacks, 19, were both fatally injured when their vehicle, a Honda Insight, was struck by a Chevrolet Silverado that had crossed the median of the roadway. 

The driver of the Silverado, Scott Bales, 47,  had departed from the westbound side of the highway near Gilman Springs Road and Bridge Street in Riverside County, according to local news outlets. 

Bales appeared to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash, officials said.

Molly Jean Clarke was too good for Earth. Her heavenly father needed her and called her home following a tragic accident on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at the age of 17. Molly, the daughter of Doug and Katie (Rypka) Clarke, was born on July 23, 2005 in Worthington, MN.

Molly had the most beautiful soul and loved Jesus. She was actively involved in St. Gabriel's parish as an alter server, minister of hospitality, and insisted on going to mass each Sunday. Molly knew Jesus and was unwavering in her faith and was actively preparing to be confirmed

Molly Clarke died in an vehicle crash involving an off-road vehicle.

Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of Barney Whitworth Williams and Margaret Martin Nordeen.

She was a graduate of Greenville High School and was currently a Junior at Clemson University where she was a member of Tri Delta Sorority. Liz was a young lady of tremendous courage and she was amazing in the way she continued her strength through high school and two years of college while fighting a five-year battle with cancer. She lived her life to the fullest day by day.

Hailey Brooks 11-year-old

Hailey Brooks was dancing in Saturday's parade Thu Nov  19 with CC & Company Dance Complex. She was struck and killed by an out-of-control pickup truck that lost its brakes. ( 11 Years Old; Death: 21 November 2022 ) was an 11 Years Old girl.

Emily Sotelo 20

A hiker who went on a solo trek on a New Hampshire mountain three days ago but never returned was found dead Wednesday,  Nov 23, 2022 state officials said.

Emily Sotelo’s body was found on the northwest side of Mount Lafayette around 11:15 a.m., the New Hampshire Fish and Game Law Enforcement Division said in a statement.

The body of a missing Vanderbilt student was discovered Wednesday, days after she was last seen leaving for a campground over the weekend.

Emily Sotelo was reported missing on Sunday after she didn't return from a trip to Lafayette Place Campground, according to a post from the New Hampshire Fish and Game Law Enforcement Division and Operation Game Thief. She planned to hike in the area.

On Wednesday, search teams discovered the 20-year-old's body just after 11 a.m. on the northwest side of Mount Lafayette, an update to the organization's Facebook page announced.

"Emily had departed on a solo hike of Franconia Ridge on the morning of November 20th," a statement from NH Fish and Game Conservation said. "When Emily had not returned at the planned time a family member notified NH Fish and Game."

"Due to the harsh weather conditions a search commenced Sunday evening and thru the night. Searchers were hampered by high winds, cold temperatures and blowing snow," they added. "Searchers spent the next two days looking for Emily and Tuesday afternoon tracks and items belonging to Emily were located at the headwaters of Lafayette Brook. A plan was made to concentrate the search effort in this area on Wednesday when ground searchers located her body at 11:15 AM."

Alivia Mynes, 18,

The Creekview High School community is mourning the loss of a former volleyball standout and her father who died in a crash.

Alivia Mynes, 18, and Chris Mynes, 52, died Thanksgiving morning in the Cherokee County crash. Nov 24, 2022

According to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, the Mynes family was traveling west on Knox Bridge Highway near Scott Hudgens Drive around 11:30 a.m.

Deputies said a driver in a Ford F-150 was traveling east and crossed the center line. The truck collided with the Mynes’ SUV, killing Chris in the driver seat and Alivia in the back seat.

Deputies said the truck driver, a 24-year-old from Canton, was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Two other cars were also involved in the crash, but no one was injured. The accident remains under investigation.
