Tessa was diagnosed with an aggressive form of osteosarcoma in her right chest wall in May of 2021. She endured many rounds of chemo, two major surgeries, and radiation. In January of 2023, she was diagnosed with leukemia caused by one of her chemo medications and there was no longer a path to a cure. Throughout her ordeal, she showed incredible courage, grace, and humor.

Christina Hecktus is living every parent's worst nightmare. Her daughter died suddenly on March 25 of complications of pneumonia and a Strep A infection (iGAS). She was only five years old.

The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office (DCSO) has confirmed that the human remains found last month in the Valley Head, AL area are those of Makenna Joy Purvis.

The announcement comes nearly seven months after the 19-year-old was reported as missing.

According to DCSO, no foul play is suspected.

Autumn was currently an 11th grade student at Dover Area High School where she was a member of the marching band, concert band, cheerleading team and student council. When not at school, she loved working part time at Subway.

The teenager convicted of shooting and killing his ex-girlfriend, and trying to kill her mother in their Kenosha home in May 2019, will spend the rest of his life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Martice Fuller, who is now 18, was sentenced by Kenosha County Judge Mary Kay Wagner on Friday, May 19.

On the night of April 27, 2006, just a month before her ninth birthday, Mackenzie Branham was asleep in a second-floor bedroom of her mother’s Jeffersonville, Ohio house. She had only recently gone to stay at the house where her mother, Mary Branham, and her mother’s boyfriend, Kenneth Mossbarger, lived. Mackenzie’s parents were divorced at the time.

Some time during the night, as the family slept, a fire erupted. Mary and Kenneth were able to escape. They were unable to get to Mackenzie, and she was found dead by members of the fire department who responded to the call.
