abortion as a right to self-defense against death from pregnancy or childbirth

Alito in overturning Roe vs Wade states the word abortion is no where in the US Constitution. Since the US Constitution is silent on abortion it goes to the states.

Nearly half of the states may ban abortion.

The way I would have ruled on abortion is that an abortion is much safer than childbirth and that both pregnancy or childbirth can result in death.

Therefore, there is a constitutional right to self-defense and abortion falls under self-defense against threats to her life.
