Two bodies are discovered in the ashes of a suspicious house fire. The hunt for a former jilted lover begins. When investigators follow clues in a viral Tik-Tok trend, they begin to realize that nothing is what it seems.

A man and woman were found dead in the garage. They interviewed neighbors and family and found the dead woman had a jilted lover

They initially thought there was gun shots and that both victims were shot and the garage were set on fire to cover the crimes. They found wire around the dead woman's legs.

the woman was holding 2 jumper cables which was a bit odd.


Still they concluded it was a homicide and they actually arrested her jilted lover

they show clips of the jilted lover police interview.

he did himself no favors. he claimed he isn't dumb enough to kill 2 people and leave them in the garage. he said if he killed them he would bury them and no one would be able to find them.

finally one investigator said this could be an accident, the result of a tik tok trend called

the neighbors admits the man asked about if he had microwave ovens and he had an art project.

investigators return to the scene and found jumper cables microwave ovens and interviews of friends saying the victims were interested in creating fractal burning art.

so their deaths were classified as accident,

jilted lover was released from prison,

investigator said this was one of the very few cases where a person was actually arrested for murder, only to be released as it was ruled an accident.
