77 °F Revelation, last book of the Bible and my "research"

sadly tomorrow is predicted to be around 90F and then high 95F+ humidity returns on Tuesday, which will prompt me to leave my house until darkness.

so I am at home right now.

I wish my whole summer could be 77 °F but on Tuesday its back to 95F+ humidity

When I was in middle school, one of my favorite thing to read was the last book of the Bible the Revelation of Saint John. At the time I also learned of Dungeons and Dragons and so when I read of the dragon that wanted to eat the baby in Revelation, I pictured a D&D dragon. I had thought the Dragon wanting to eat the baby of a woman was a picture of an abortionists performing an abortion on a young woman. Abortions were demonic dragons wanting to destroy babies in the womb.

my so-called research was along the lines of the Revelation and its 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse. I also met with students trained at the Moody Bible Institute and Wheaton College so some of the ideas were from them. There was also a Christian only book store in a mall close to where I lived, that featured books specific to Christianity.

There was no internet in the day and the PC I used in school was a 128k Apple 2c or e.

Pestilence was the global AIDS epidemic, with reports of a virus called Ebola melting the wicked

Famine in Africa, there was a major push to feed Africa, including rock stars and the song "We are the World"

War between Israel and Palestine, supported by Arab nations

wickedness and demons in the form of homosexuality activists, pornography, and abortion.

666 = number of the beast tattooed, well tattoos and body piercings were becoming popular around this time period. So 666 could be any tattoo on a person, not necessarily this specific number.

I felt that both tattoos and body piercings were "demonic" and I personally didn't want to have anything to do with it. I have plenty of acne scarring and bug bites and scars and burn marks from misadventures, but no tattoos or body piercings.

My NIV bible had a picture of John of Patmos on an Island, looking up in the sky with clouds and angels and a scroll, which fired my imagination. I also looked up in the sky, esp when it was cloudy so I could also receive a precognitive vision of the future, like John of Patmos.

I thought it would have been awesome life if I could tell my sheep my interpretation of Revelation with current events, and then they give me money so I can pay the bills. As well as write books where I unlock the mystery of Revelation. There are a lot of smoking hot girls in Church, and I wouldn't mind having as my wife.

There was 1 TV show I watched and took seriously and that was Jack Van Impe show with his wife Priscilla, back in the day. I kinda wanted to follow his footsteps LOL.

The Sunday school teacher educated at the Moody Bible institute and Wheaten College wore IBM style business suits, and would using a marker and white dry erase board, draw time lines and tables of the End of Times. How the nations of the earth will attack Israel, but then God will send his army of angels.

So picture Angels with swords and trumpets vs modern planes, tanks, soldiers, and the Angels win.

I have since learned Revelation and the Bible is just bronze age fairy tales.

The closest thing to predicting the future is weather forecasting, which always amazes me how accurate it is. A week ago, the weatherman predicted a nice 80F weekend, which was really hard to believe as it is July and the then current weather was heat index of 110F and even night time was 95F with humidity. Sadly the same weatherman is predicting the return of this weather by Tuesday

weather forecasting is based on science, computer modeling, and data collection.

Revelation is based on wild fantasy and hearing voices and possibly drugs and mental illness
