Fuquay-Varina - Heaven received an amazing angel on the afternoon of Tuesday, February 20, 2024. Alanna was 11 years old. She was born on November 20, 2012, in Wake County, to Michelle and Michael Capps.


Alanna attended 5th grade at Hilltop Christion School which she loved with all her heart. She enjoyed attending GA’s and the Club 56 program at Piney Grove Baptist Church where she attended. She loved being outside, playing especially with her dog Bruno, going fishing with her family, feeding the birds, doing crafts, making mints, and reading the Christmas book at Aunt Dianne’s and Uncle Randy’s each Christmas morning. She loved all her many school/church friends and her stuffed animals. She especially loved okra, squash, crushed ice, ice cream, grilled cheese sandwiches, and helping her granny cook. She touched the lives of all who knew her with her infectious smile, and kind, loving, sassy, and giving spirit, and will be greatly missed by her family, many friends, and all of those she touched throughout her short life. She was a child of incredible Christian faith who could light up any room.

On February 20, 2024, Alanna Capps met Jesus face to face. Her infectious smile and loving heart will truly be missed by all who encountered her. She was a loving daughter, sister, and friend. We may never be able to understand why the Lord would allow her such a short amount of time with us, but we are eternally grateful for the promise of Heaven. While we grieve the loss of such a young friend, we also want to support her mother, Michelle, as she carries the burden of medical and funeral

Marie's Obituary

Marie Katherine Fuelling was given life by her Creator and was born on April 29, 2010, the child of Matt and Karey Fuelling.  On May 16, 2010, she received the gift of Holy Baptism in the Name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit and became a child of God. She confessed her baptismal faith in the rite of Confirmation on April 4, 2024, and was welcomed to the altar that same day to receive the medicine of Immortality in the Body and Blood of her Lord Jesus Christ.  One day later, on Friday, April 5, 2024, at the age of 13 years, Marie fell asleep in Jesus at Riley Hospital for Children after a brief battle with brain cancer and was welcomed to her home in heaven.  Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.

Marie was the kind of student who brought life to the halls of St. Peter-Immanuel Lutheran School. She enjoyed and was talented in many different sports. Marie was active in volleyball and basketball at St. Peter-Immanuel and Zion Lutheran Decatur, running track at Bellmont Middle School, Bellmont AAU Basketball, and Decatur Softball League.

In her spare time, she enjoyed painting, being with friends, and taking care of her animals. Marie could bring a smile to any ones face with her personality and quoting “dumb” movies.

Nellee Bell Obituary

Surrounded by her family in the early hours of January 16, 2024, Nellee Ann Bell, age 11, ran joyfully into the arms of our Savior and entered into paradise.

Nellee was born to Heath and Megan Bell April 19, 2012 in Vernal, Utah. From the moment she came into this world, she radiated a joy that was contagious to all that knew her. Nellee fell in love with everything there was about life. She had a passion for the outdoors and the beauty of the earth. She loved hiking in the mountains and all of the flowers this world has to offer. She spent summer days soaking up the sun on the lake with her family- wakeboarding, wakesurfing, or tubing at every chance she could get. In the winters, she looked forward to the many snowboarding trips with her parents and five siblings. In her free time she loved being with her countless friends, perfecting her different accents, crafting, dancing, playing volleyball, and showing off her six pack.

Nellee had a deep love for Jesus and carried the light of Christ with her wherever she went. She once told her mom, "I love you so much, but I love Jesus more!" Nellee's testimony of Jesus Christ was strong throughout her life and she strived to live her life as Jesus would. It became apparent that the Savior was walking with her at every moment. Her infectious smile, tender heart, and extraordinary spirit was an incredible example to every person who was blessed to know her. In her time on this earth Nellee loved and lived as Jesus did, and will continue to do so heaven-side.

Nellee's faith remained at the forefront of her incredible fight with cancer. In the summer of 2023, she was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her knee. In August she received a rotationplasty and healed better than expected. Nellee had a rapid recovery and quickly went back to dancing through life. Within a few months of her surgery, the cancer metastasized and spread to her lungs. She worked hard to regain the full range of motion in her foot in order to use her prosthesis. On New Years Eve, she proudly reached her goal and cried tears of joy to complete the last motion she needed to be able to use her prosthetic leg fully. Despite the challenges life presented, Nellee never lost her smile or sense of humor. She loved to freak people out with her cute backwards foot, show off her funny faces, and make people laugh with her signature eyebrow wave. Her radiant smile and beautiful light captured the hearts of many as she shared her journey with the world. Throughout her rotationplasty, prosthesis fitting and lengthy medical treatments, Nellee's joy and faith remained steadfast. She inspired everyone to be "Tough as Nellee'' and live life to the absolute fullest.

Jane Kathryn

Jane Kathryn Rolf, age 2, joyful daughter of the Heavenly Father, passed into His Arms unexpectedly on April 14, 2024, at her family home.
Jane was born on June 3, 2021 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to Emma (maiden name Mulderink) and Daniel Rolf.
Jane's bright smile and caring heart brought joy to everyone she encountered. She loved to sing hymns and worship songs nonstop, play with her sister Penelope (1yr) and her many wonderful cousins, read books all day, go on walks, play with chalk, and do everything Mama did. Every book became her hymnal. She loved feeding the family chickens, gathering the eggs, and checking on her family cow, "Laudette". Jane knew that every Sunday meant we were going to Jesus' House; now she is in His glorious House forever. We know that our profound loss is Heaven's gain, and we are confident that Jane's music and laughter are resounding in the Halls of Heaven with the Communion of Saints. We are so grateful for the short time we had her on this earth. She has impacted us forever.

She was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on June 13, 2015 by her father.  She cherished her membership in the church.  She loved to study the scriptures and enjoyed the peace that studying brought her. The testimony she gained in her short life was powerful.  She knows her Savior, Jesus Christ

With heavy hearts we celebrate the beautiful life of Mesa Teresa Fredenhagen. Mesa was a remarkable young lady, full of grit, perseverance, and most of all, joy. Our dear Mesa brought light and life wherever she went. When we think of Mesa, we always loved the way she smiled with her eyes, and her infectious giggle were her most enduring qualities. Her love of horses was only eclipsed by her love of her people. Mesa was an adored daughter and sister, devoted granddaughter and cousin, and a most steadfast friend. She enjoyed sharing time with those she loved on horseback, creating art, or getting lost in a book. She was always willing to lend a hand to her family at home or at church and be a listening ear to her friends. She was a girl of great faith and had a knack for making everyone around her forget their troubles. Although nothing can soften this ache, we rejoice that Mesa is resting in her Savior's arms. She is so loved and will be forever missed until on the blessed day that we are reunited in heaven.

She loved her brother Charles with all her heart and did not mind standing up for him whenever the need arose. She exemplified the meaning of her "brother's defender and helper." Her understanding of the world demonstrated wisdom beyond her years. Always a helpmate, Corrie loved helping her Mom in the kitchen, and her Dad outdoors and her brother with anything he needed. She enjoyed telling stories, listening to Christian music and singing her favorite song, "Happy Birthday Jesus." Corrie loved Frozen, sang every song, and owned almost every item from the franchise. She was a loving little girl who loved the Lord and her family with all her heart. Her mommy wrote, "Corrie, you are so beautiful, the sun and moon would envy you, if they could envy."

NECEDAH, Wis. – Future New Ulm residents 38-year-old Charis Kuehl and 5-year-old Stella Kuehl died in a Necedah, Wisconsin house fire Sunday, June 30.n a press release, the Juneau County Sheriff’s Office stated they received a 911 call at 2:35 a.m. about the fire. The home was fully engulfed in flames when deputies arrived. After fighting the fire for three hours and remaining on scene for 12, six people were found dead. The fire is believed to be accidental. Six state and local agencies were needed in total.

As of the early morning hours of June 30, 2024, another one of Jesus' sweet little lambs is safe within his eternal fold in heaven. Stella Anne Kuehl was called from this life exactly five years (to the day) after she was made a child of God through baptism. The Lord apparently had in mind to give Stella the privilege of living almost her entire post-birth existence (all but her 5 years and 9 days) in the glories of heaven. What an honor and a blessing God has bestowed upon this precious child. And yet, we can't help but weep at the loss of her earthly companionship.

Stella Anne Kuehl was born on June 21, 2019 in Columbus, Ohio to Rev. Stephen Paul Kuehl and Charis Anne Kuehl (nee Witte), and was made a child of God through baptism on June 30, 2019. The name Stella means "Star" - and Stella was a child who shined brightly in so many ways during her short time on this earth. Stella was about as sweet and cute as any young girl could be. She had a vibrant imagination and was smart as a whip. She loved playing with her dolls and barbies, coloring and doing crafts, watching "a show," running errands with mom, and being part of her sisters' escapades and musical productions. Her emotional intelligence was incredibly high and very noticeable to anyone who interacted with her. Most often she was soft-spoken and sweet and an absolute joy to be around, but she also intuitively knew how to play "hardball" on a level that baffled dad and mom and her beloved babysitter on more than one occasion.

Though her departure from this life was sudden and unexpected, Stella was blessed to walk through the valley of the shadow of death accompanied not only by her Lord Jesus but also by her loving mother, Charis, as well as her grandfather, aunt, and two cousins. She was preceded in death by her cousin, Joel Henselin. Stella is survived by her beloved father, Rev. Stephen Kuehl, her two beloved sisters, Norah and Vera, and her beloved babysitter, Nala Kharchla.

Ilana Leigh McGonagle, Greenville, was embraced into the arms of God on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2024, at the UPMC Children's Hospital, Pittsburgh, as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was seven years old.
She was born July 20, 2017, in Farrell, the daughter of Charles E. and Jamie L. (Shirk) McGonagle.
Ilana was to begin her second year of schooling at Greenville Elementary School, where her absence is already deeply felt.
Ilana was full of life and love and truly a child of God. She would openly share her love of the Lord with others and enjoyed singing worship songs. She was passionate about all of God's creation.
