I propose 1978 Burger Chef murders link to 1979 Eyvonne Bender and Susan Ovington

I've long thought about the Burger Chef murders and the 1979 murders of 1979 Eyvonne Bender and Susan Ovington and now I think they are linked.

Jayne Friedt, 20, Daniel Davis, 16, Mark Flemmonds, 16, and Ruth Ellen Shelton, 18, were found that Sunday afternoon over 20 mi (32 km) away in the rural woods of Johnson County

Both Davis and Shelton had been shot execution-style numerous times.

Execution style killing is most often a shot to the head, and victims sometimes are killed kneeling.

The girls' bodies were found in a Morton Grove Forest Preserve, September 5, 1979. They had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. The crimes have never been solved.

The girls' bodies were found behind a miniature golf course near Dempster Street and Waukegan Road. Both had suffered gunshot wounds to the head. Their purses were found in an unlocked car.

However, the case took a more serious tack when the murdered bodies of Jayne Friedt, 20, Daniel Davis, 16, Mark Flemmonds, 16, and Ruth Ellen Shelton, 18, were found that Sunday afternoon over 20 mi (32 km) away in the rural woods of Johnson County

both sets of bodies were found in rural woods/forest preserve with multiple gun shot wounds to the head

I propose that all the victims were murdered by the same offender(s) if its same gun then its a clinch but if its different gun i suspect the offender changed guns so they wouldn't be linked or trace. look at other evidence like tire tracks

look at any suspects that can be found at both locations, such as relatives, school, work, travel, etc. if tDNA is possible my theory predicts same tDNA on the clothing of the victims.
