On Donald Trump's win - explaining the white woman vote

Donald Trump won. I'm not overly enamored with either Trump or Clinton.

One thing that this vote shows is that pollsters, pundits, and "experts" like psychics can make predictions that can be checked, in this case, their prediction was that hillary clinton would win.

Another prediction, esp by feminists, is that women will vote for Hillary Clinton and we will see the first woman president in US history.

well they've made a wrong prediction.

in other words, a guy who is something of a chauvinist and sleeze and who is opposed to a woman's right to chose an abortion, got a 10 point victory over a white woman candidate for president among white women voters, who supports abortion rights.

obviously when you hear about what feminists want, and how feminists and women should support hillary clinton, how hillary becoming president will be a message to young girls of inspiration and breaking the glass ceiling, they obviously didn't predict that real voting white women voters prefer trump 10% over hillary.

feminists and women studies profs claim to have an expert level understanding of the lives and concerns of women, yet none of them predicted that real white women voters, made with real flesh and real blood, would prefer trump something of  a pig, over a fellow feminist abortion advocate hillary clinton.

i take what they say with a grain of salt, for the most part, when they say women, they are only referring to other womyn who are radicalized. some women are prolife on abortion, unimaginable to a feminist but true. some women prefer traditional heterosexual marriage and children and traditional roles. again totally unimaginable to these feminist activists and womyn studies profs. some women prefer christian religion over feminist progressive activism.

Two things.

The 'feminist' movement is out of touch with reality
The movement bought into the neo-liberal hype

Feminism is at a fork in the road. It is creating an alliance of sorts with lunatic fringe groups and the moment that nonsense started when I was in college, I started drifting away.

It has no sense of irony when it spews hatred towards "hate groups" that it loathes while coddling with hate groups it likes. White supremacists are bad, but #blacklivesmatter and ANTIFA are good.

There is an ongoing attempt in our culture to make the lunatic fringe appear mainstream while making the mainstream feel like the lunatic fringe. I don't like it.

If you're against tranny bathrooms, this means you're homophobic.
If you're against trannies being discussed in preschool-kindergarten, you hate children and are against education.
If you're against the #blacklivesmatter movement, you're racist.
If you don't believe white men are evil, you're not wanted.

The censorship is unreal. They only want you to have a voice if you agree with them. All opposing thought should be silenced. That is a dangerous game being played.

Some people(including me) are sick of this nonsense. The liberal movement on college campuses is out of control and at some point, a backlash is coming. Signs of a potential backlash are already here. At the University of Missouri, they went full blown progressive snowflake and started building new dorms to house this utopia. They announced this year that enrollment was down 30% and having to cut hundreds of jobs, which is a disaster. Enrollment by black students was down 19%. Why? They acted like white people would be shunned, #BLM in full throttle, and it would be the perfect environment for students.

Instead of a paradise, that campus is morphing into a ghost town.

A lot can be learned from what happened there. It tells us that this snowflake, faux outrage, trauma dog era we live in was nothing more than a bizarre social experiment that is now failing.

Another problem in general is politics. It's too personal now. Everyone has an opinion on every issue and social media is used to create individual soap boxes. Its causing division among friends and families everywhere. While the public perceives it as personal, in reality it is not. The politicians are not serving the people. They are serving the corporations and the stockholders. It doesn't matter whether or not there's a (D) or (R) next to the name. They are on the same team, its differences window dressing at best.

There's no accountability. None. Our politicians have no shame. The pretense has been dropped entirely. They do not hide the fact they exist to serve our corporations and the general public is so dumb now that they don't even care.

While my bank account and stock portfolio are happy, I shake my head in disgust.

The election of Trump was a sign that while people may be stupid in general, they are getting sick of being forcefed a bunch of nonsense.

The democratic party has been hijacked by lunatics and at the worst possible time. If they don't ease back on some of this stuff, Trump will win in 2020 as well. I believe both parties need to move back to the center but if the dems are not willing to, their party is going to collapse.

I don't watch Survivor but if I was on the show or something similar to it, I'd do the exact same thing. Eliminate all the women, then take advantage of the weaker men first, then go in for the kill on the alpha male.
