An 18-year-old Bascom girl is dead after she lost control of her vehicle and struck a dump truck head-on.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says Kenadee Siebenaller was driving north on Township Rd. 59 near County Rd. 18 southeast of Fostoria around 3 p.m. on Saturday.

That’s when Siebenaller’s car went off the right side of the road, and then after she over-corrected, over the centerline, where she hit a dump truck being driven by 37-year-old Dustin Humphrey, of Fostoria.

Siebenaller was taken to the hospital where she later died.
Neither Humphrey, nor his passenger, 9-year-old Alexis Mathias, were injured in the crash.

Siebenaller was not wearing a seatbelt.

Kenadee M. Siebenaller, 18, of Bascom, was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt south on Township Road 59, just north of County Road 18, in Seneca County’s Loudon Township at 3:20 p.m. when she lost control of the vehicle and drove off the right side of the road, said troopers with the state Highway Patrol. Siebenaller then over-corrected the vehicle, causing it to go left of center and collide head on with a northbound 1994 Ford F350 dump truck.

A young woman died near Lido Beach over the weekend after authorities say she was hit in the head by a boat propeller.



Murray was rushed to Sarasota Memorial Hospital where she died later that night

The boat was a rental that was being operated by a 26-year-old man from Bradenton. The pontoon was leaving the area when the incident happened.

A 16-year-old girl died Friday afternoon after an accidental shooting at a home in McLoud, police officials said.

Kaylen Thomas was shot in the head at a home on East Heritage Park, which is down the street from McLoud High School, according to police. The teenager was taken to OU Medical Center, where she died.

A 17-year-old girl is shot dead inside a home in Raytown.

Police say it happened about 1 a.m. Friday near Blue Ridge Boulevard and Sterling Avenue. One neighbor said she was shaken out of bed as she heard at least four shots.

Missouri Highway Patrol is lead on the homicide investigation and have identified the victim as Makayla Brooks.

The young girl was known to many of her neighbors. Her life was sadly taken inside her home.

Scarlett Levinson was just 29 and appeared healthy and active until she became sick with the flu and died of cardiac complications of the virus on Tuesday And there were few signs that the young attorney might become so sick so quickly.

Her husband, Lee Levinson, found her collapsed at their home in Raleigh after she had been jogging, Fox reported.

According to the outlet, Levinson eventually went to an urgent care, but after 10 days, the flu seemed to take a drastic toll on her.

DeWitt County authorities continue to investigate the death of a 12-year-old girl who was found unresponsive at her residence Friday morning in Clinton.

Clinton police and emergency medical crews responded around 6:36 a.m. to the address in the 400 block of North Maple Street.
Police said the girl was unresponsive and, at 6:55 a.m., Dewitt County Coroner Randy Rice pronounced Daphne J. Peavler dead at the scene. She was a student at Clinton Junior High School.

Cardinal Gibbons High School junior and star runner Madeline Shook died in a car crash in Wake County, North Carolina, early Tuesday morning when her vehicle ran off the road and crashed into several trees,
ABC11 Raleigh reports that Shook was believed to be heading to school this morning around 7:30 AM when her car ran off the road on Possum Track Road in Wake County.

Shook was a junior at Cardinal Gibbons High School who had been in North Carolina for just two years. She moved to the state from Knoxville, Tennessee, in 2017, where she previously attended West High School.  She had to sit out her sophomore year after transferring to Gibbons in the middle of the first quarter in 2017.

Shook held a season best of 18:54 in cross country this season and was one of Gibbons' best runners.  

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) - A 16-year-old from Raleigh was killed when her car ran off a Wake County road Tuesday morning and hit several trees, the Highway Patrol said.

Around 7:30 a.m., Madeline Grace Shook was driving north on Possum Track Road when her 2011 Volkswagen Jetta left the road to the right.
The Jetta was traveling at a "high rate of speed" when it ran off the road and slammed into several trees.

The vehicle came to rest on an embankment near Possum Track Road's intersection with Raven Ridge Road.

Shook died at the scene.

Cardinal Gibbons High School confirms Shook was a student at the school.

Regan Moger, 16, rode as a passenger in a car driven by Zachary Armontrout, 16, along with three other students from Maur Hill-Mount

The Kansas Highway Patrol reports that Armontrout was driving on River Road in Atchison, Kansas Sunday when his vehicle crashed through a guardrail at the Independence Bridge and landed upside down in a creek.

Three of the teens were able to escape from the vehicle but authorities said Armontrout and 16-year-old Regan Moger, of Houston, Texas were trapped inside and had to be rescued from the submerged vehicle.

Authorities said Larsen was driving on Pinoak Road west of County Road L-34 near Underwood, Iowa, when her car left the road and tipped onto its side into a ditch.

Larsen called 911 and said the car was on fire and she could not get out.

Friends and family were in shock Friday after a 16-year-old girl from Honey Creek, Iowa, died when her car caught fire and she couldn’t escape.

What isn’t in dispute is that Katie had drunk four pints of beer or cider at a work night out in Clarkston, Glasgow, on August 10, 2017.

She walked the short distance from the hotel where she had been drinking to the bar where she worked with a pal after realising she had left her flat keys in her car.
When she got there, she made the stupid mistake of agreeing to give her friend a lift home, knowing she was over the limit.

Her car had a tyre blowout, she collided with a traffic island and hit teenager Michael Keenan in a collision which broke his ankle and fractured an eye socket, leaving him unconscious.

Katie insisted until her death that she had not realised she had struck Michael – a claim which was not put before the court.

An inaccurate claim that the force of the collision had ripped the bumper off Katie’s car was aired, however. In fact, she had stopped, changed the tyre on her car unaided and gone back to her flat.

Linda said: “Katie had been at a work night out at The Redhurst Hotel near Clarkston.

“She had parked away from there at her workplace and had not intended to take her car back to the flat.

“But she realised she left her flat keys at work so had gone back there to get them. Her friend asked for a lift home.

“Katie was driving along Eastwoodmains Road and her driver-side tyre hit a traffic island and it blew.

“Katie lost control of the car and tried to recover. She actually pulled in and changed her tyre, at which point her friend left.

“Katie had no idea that she had injured anybody at that point.

“The first Katie knew that she had injured anybody was when the police came to the flat to arrest her.”

She was sentenced to 16 months in February after hitting a 15-year-old schoolboy last year and leaving him unconscious.

She drove away from the scene but was caught after a witness took note of her registration number.

Now a pal of Katie’s, who spent time with her in prison but wishes to remain anonymous, described the tragic Scot as being a “sheep in a wolf’s den”.

The former lag also said that Katie was “s**t scared” of one bully who would force her to hand over her tobacco.
The friend said: “Me and another woman. We were the sort of matriarchal figures of our bit. We met Katie and right away you could see she wasn’t the norm.

“She was a lovely, lovely girl. She was a student at Glasgow University, she wanted to be a chef.

“She didn’t take drugs, she was a nice lass put in with folk who are in and out of the system.

“She was definitely getting bullied. That and the prison environment directly contributed to her ending her life. She should never have been in there.

“I remember one incident. Katie had a brand new pouch of Amber Leaf tobacco. And another woman had plucked Katie’s eyebrows for her.

Ms Allan was due to be released in October.  2018
