coronavirus and malls, movie theaters, and public venues

with news reports of universities and other events cancelled over concerns of the coronavirus

i'm having second thoughts, myself.

i still plan to go grocery shopping and buy food and other necessities.

generally i don't have to go to the mall, and if i do go, will i contract the coronavirus if i haven't already?

hmmm.

since my mother is elderly with alzheimer's, if i get the coronavirus and pass it on to her, she may die

bc she has dementia she refuses to wear a surgical face mask.

obviously i only have 1 go at life.
