The body of a missing woman was found in her dad's hot tub three days after she vanished, an inquest heard.

Ella-Louise Tunney had accidentally fallen in the tub when she suffered an epileptic fit while preparing the water for an afternoon soak during a hot summer's day.

Her body was found by police when they lifted up the lid of the hot tub and saw her bikini-clad body floating in the water.

Officers had been called by Ella-Louise's father after he became worried that she had disappeared.

He had started searching fields around the family home in Eton Wick, near Windsor, Berkshire, with his pet dog.

During the search he and other family members had passed the hot time numerous times but did not think anything was amiss as the lid was closed.

Ella-Louise had been diagnosed with epilepsy as a teenager but had always managed to keep it under control with medication until November 2017 when its severity began to increase and she suffered black outs.

She once had to be dragged out of the bath by a colleague on a work trip.

However, when she disappeared on June 23, her father, Lee Tunney, assumed she had gone to sleep in the annexe which she lived in 60 yards from the main house at the back of the garden of the family property.

When she failed to appear the next day, he thought she might be out enjoying the World Cup TV with friends, despite having left all of her belongings at home.

By Monday June 25, Mr Tunney was desperately searching a field across the road from his home with the family dog, looking for his daughter, the Berkshire coroner was told.

It was only when police arrived and searched the Tunney's home and grounds that Ella-Louise was discovered in the hot tub.

Emma Jones, assistant coroner for Berkshire, heard from the grief-stricken father and Jodie McGlinchey, the sister of Ms Tunney who had posted across social media channels to try to find information about her missing sister in the hours before she was discovered.
