She was born March 20, 2014, in Lewisburg, a daughter of Luke S. and Amanda J. (Hurst) Flickinger.

Joslyn was a fourth grade student at Mifflinburg Area Intermediate School, where she played soccer, field hockey, and basketball, and participated in Girls on the Run.

Joslyn Noelle Flickinger, a fourth-grade student at Mifflinburg Area Intermediate School, died at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday following hospitalization from a head injury on Sept. 2.

An Idaho family is “completely devastated” after a tree fell on their tents while they were camping near Mountain Home, killing their 8-year-old daughter and family dog.

A tragedy can strike anyone at anytime. On September 9, 2023 at 5:00 AM, while camping at USDA/Boise National Forest Pine Campground near Mountain Home, Idaho, a large pine tree fell on the Eastin family while they slept in their tents. The tree instantly killed 8-year old Cadence, (who was an identical twin to her sister London), and the family dog. The family thanks God that no one else was injured during this horrific event.
