I've been watching History Channel's Knighfall and in the  most recent episode

that is 2 skulls fused together and dipped in silver, and it is claimed to be baphomet, which the Templars were alleged to worship.

I was taught by David a moody bible institute grad and he lamented we've not burned heretics for spreading false teachings about Christ.

he considered Roman Catholics, Mormons, Jehovah Witnesses, Swedenborgians, Unitarians, Unification, etc as heretics, not Christians at all.
He even believed the pope was the antiChrist and told high school students in bible study as much.

he told us this.

Watching Vikings and Last Kingdom there was conflict between Vikings and Christians. IIRC, Viking's Lagetha told Floki she wanted Floki to raise her Viking children with strong anti-christian, kill the Christian passion, in the old gods. Later, Lagetha falls in love with a Christian priest.

By Knighfall, Europe including Vikings were Christian, but the preoccupation was with heresy, something true in early Christian history with the struggle against Marcion and the Gnostics.

I've watch reality tv show Survivor, and everyone has a plan and an agenda to implement that plan.

When Rome and Europe was pagan, it was Christians vs pagans.

When Europe and Rome were Christian, the struggle was with heretics.

The Templars were "Christian" and King Phillip of France was "Christian". in the tv show it was adultery that caused him to have animus towards Templar, in history it was debt.

King Phillip had an agenda, he called Templars idolators and heretics who worshipped Baphomet, with the help of turn coat Templars, and wiped them out.

Those in power will try to maintain power and use whatever they have in their disposal to eliminate rivals. In socialism and communism, Stalin and his buddies called those opposed to socialism "enemies of the state" and had them executed. Of course there's agendas in capitalism as well.

The Bible of course warns against false gods and idols, and heresy, but I see that as just an agenda driven tool to dispose of your enemies.

Historically, Catholics and Protestants called one another heretics, each called the other in league with Satan, and there was the Thrity Years war in Germany and other religious wars and persecution, claiming that other Christians aren't real Christians.

Today I don't necessarily trust leftists Marxist feminists, but neither conservatives and right wing either. Feminists have an agenda and so do religious wingnuts.
