now that my city and state has issued a stay at home order, coupled with all non-essential businesses to shut down, and many non-essential government agencies to also shut down,

obviously the police is still out there, doing police work.


but i wonder how coronavirus and Colorado does also have similar orders affect cold cases like JonBenet Ramsey are being investigated, fr

om detectives to forensic scientists to DNA scientists.

detectives interviewing suspects who may have coronavirus to large number of DNA scientists working together, possibly spreading coronavirus

this case and other cold cases, such as the really hard hit New York and Washington and California.


how do you carry on a criminal investigation during a coronavirus stay at home orders and partial government shut down?

another more recent case I've been following is February 14, 2017, the bodies of Abigail Williams and Liberty German

police is asking the public for tips to identify the killer, which means detectives will have to follow up on leads, but what about infecting detectives with coronavirus as they interview possible witnesses or suspects?

are DNA scientists in labs working on obtaining DNA from current and cold cases right now?

is investigating these cold cases essential or non-essential governmental work?

China and South Korea and Japan have apparently mostly resolved this and it apparently is business as usual for them, so perhaps within a month or two everything will return back to normal.

technically the stay at home and shut down orders expire in mid-April, of course it's anyone's guess how bad the situation will be here in the USA by then.
